Hi everyone,

This is my first post and am brand new to e-cigs!! I smoke about a pack a day and was curious as to what is the equivilant amount of e-liquid/cartomizers needed for the day. 1 cartomizer = how many cigarettes?? Will 1 cartomizer last a pack a day smoker all day?? Im not sure if I am asking the right questions, but I think you know where I am going with this.

BTW, I will be using a kr808d-1 with the automatic battery.

Thanks!!!

Welcome to ECF! There really isn't way to tell how many cigarettes equal one cartomizer. Everyone vapes differently so it can vary. Most people vape an average of 3-4ml per day. If your carto holds 1ml of juice then that will mean approximately 3 or 4 cartos. Sometimes XL cartos can last someone most of the day, but I've never heard of them lasting all day unless you don't vape much.

If I were to answer the question in those terms, I'd say 2 cartomizers.

It's probably better to think about it in terms of the amount of liquid per day. I'm not on the up-and-up with the 808's, but if they work anything like standard 510 soft tip cartomizers, you want to keep them wet throughout the day as opposed to vaping them until they're dry. That way they'll last through multiple refills, saving you a lot of money.

As an example, I was a pack-a-day Parliament smoker until 4 months ago. Right now I vape about 2mls of liquid at 24mg, give or take (maybe closer to 3 since I've moved up to LR). I've been using the same $1.50 cartomizer for about a week now. I just put 4-8 drops of liquid on the filler whenever I think of it.

But the best advice I can give is: Don't be afraid to screw up, don't be afraid to experiment, and don't be afraid to ask "stupid" questions. Just know that every vaper is different, and every piece of hardware has its own set of nuances. It's best to try to think of this as a new hobby, not just an attempt to quit smoking.

I smoked the same. I carry 4 or five plus a compact battery and extra tip in a case from modernvapor.com but use much less. I also carry a bottle buddy from mstsbakery.com in my work bag.

Unfortunately, I don't think anyone can give you a good answer because there are far too many variables. There are days I go through three cartos and days when I go through more than half a dozen (when I'm chain-vaping, a carto lasts about an hour).

What I'd suggest is to carry all the cartos you have. It's better, imo, to have more than you need than need what you don't have.

I think it's also normal that your usage will change as you become more experienced.
