I still *occasionally* do an analog, I don't beat myself up over it and in doing so I find I do like the PVs better :). Granted with the gov mucking about in every aspect of our lives now getting attached to the PVs is kind of scary.

The pols do not really want people to quit, they are addicted worse than any crack / ...... addict to the graft and tax revenue. These things work but the more FUD they can spread the longer they keep their revenue stream.

But If that happens, I'll support the smugglers, idiots never learn.

SO :) keep at it as best you can and if you do an analog or 10, don't worry about it just keep trying.

I had a very interesting conversation with my NHS stop smoking professional who was just leaving the service for another NHS job. She had become fed up with pushing NRT onto people for targets, they have to prescribe a certain amount and then report back how many people they helped to attempt quitting with it to get a bonus and so the service keeps getting funding. Its not about whats best for the patient at all!

I still use tobacco, vaporized. Sometimes I just feel the need, no big deal.

Welcome back, Spider. I don't care what they say, I always liked the little spider running around in your sig. I have missed it.

I never did quit analogs, but I cut way back and intend to keep on trying. I like my e-cigs and I am not going to give them up. Harm reduction is harm reduction (cutting out ten a day still counts for something, even if it is not ALL the analogs). The worst antis out there are the ex-smokers. Maybe you won't ever have to be that frickin self-loathing that you feel the need to condescend to people who are where you once were.

The key is to keep vaping, even if you fall off the tobacco wagon a few times. Don't run away from us again over something as trivial as a stick of tobacco. *Hand on hip, toe tapping, finger wagging*. You sabotage yourself when you give up your entire support network over shame and guilt. We are guilty of things too;). You can hold your head high here like everyone else.

Yay Nic, very well said. This forum has been a wonderful support for me. Yes, I've been fortunate to stay off the analogs, but that doesn't mean I'm perfect or that I could slip up someday. Hopefully I won't, but I can't condemn anyone for doing it and everyone needs to be proud of how far they've come! All we can do is the best we can do and try as hard as we can!

Hi ya Spider, i started vaping last xmas. Had a few times whe nsupplies were slow getting in so had a pack or two over a few months. I guess that i've been totally off analogs for two months now.
Tried out some snus a while back and that works pretty good for me. Can't say i still don't think about having an analog but it's only temporary.

Welcome back and i look forward to reading your posts.
