I stick 30 vs 50

I recently bought the I stick 50 and luv it. I want to purchase another but should I go for the 30 instead? I learned im a tootle puffer so wattage isn't an issue. I chose the 50 because the battery power but wonder if the 30 would be better for me.

if you only vape around 10w or so than the 30w would work just fine
i know the battery life of the 50w was tempting, but the 30w lasts me about 3 days at around 2ohm 10w range and it's pocketable and feels good in the hand, just make sure to get a silicon case for it cuz they do tend to scratch up easily and are a bit slick.....
or go for something completely different there are a lot of small tootle puffer devices out there now
but really for the price, functionality and size the istick 30w is tough to beat

Have to agree on all points here. Only problem I've had is I can't charge with the silicone case on. I think your in a win win situation Sarasotared.

yeah i've seen those cases retro mine is different it doesn't cover the entire bottom, just enough around the edges so it's a bit nonskid proof....but it was a pain to get on
it was made for the 20w but it fits the 30w and comes in a bunch of colors

I have a 30 and two 50's, really prefer the 50's just because I don't have to charge them often. Usually vape around 10-14 watts.

If you vape at higher resistance, the 30 will litteraly give you batery life for days. And it'll give you a more pocket friendly profile. Ask yourself if the profile (size) matters. If not, may as well get the 50. If so, go with the 30.

I vape at 23 watts normally on my iStick 50w. I can make it 3 days at 0.8 ohms.
My friend, she has the iStick 30w. If we spend a day together, she has to plug hers in throughout the day because it's close to dying at 0.5ohms and an atlantis. Size isn't much different. Personally, I would do the 50w for battery life alone and should you ever get curious and get a setup that can handle higher watts you have it.

Something else to consider is how the devices charge. The 50 charges on its side so it can stand upright when plugged in. The 30 charges on the base and has to be laid on its side. Might be a deal breaker for some.

Just picked up an Istick 30w myself, what made me decide on this was the fact the Istick charging means you can actually vape if you need to whilst it's charging, safely. And since i'm a heavy vaper and use mainly in the office, this is perfect for me. I don't worry about how many days charge i'd get as I find it completely varies, Before the istick 30w I had a ego twist 2200mah, a couple people in my office had them and averaged 3-4 days, Mine lasted roughly a day.

I'm glad the 50 seems reliable enuf to recommend. Seemed like many posts said otherwise, but the people with bad ones are louder I guess.?

I've a 30 and vape 5-6ml. @6W daily and get 1-1/2days.

I have a vaporshark rdna and using it for indoors generally, istick 30w is going with me for out doors. I use high ohms with istick 30w and it last me full day and a half usage. It also has compact design and doesn't bother me while carrying in my pocket.

So it is a good decision to buy a second device like istick 30 w for out doors.

May I ask, why do you vary for indoor and outdoor?

I had the 30w first and the battery would last me just about a day at around .8-1.0 ohms. I also chain vape for the most part. I bought the 50w just for the increased battery and loved it as well.

I still don't own a 50w. The 30w is plenty enough power and long enough battery life, as I have other iSticks (20w) and some other mods too.
I've had the 30w two weeks and still not charged it.

Some vape shop in Vancouver was selling a very nice Carbon Fiber IStick wrap that was textured and Looked like CF.

The install is on YouTube but I couldn't find that particular wrap.

The IStick with a CF wrap looks CarbonLiscious.

I myself would get the 30 as I've read about less issues with it.

Of course you can, it just a choice of me. I don't like the form factor of vs rdna 40. So it is more comfortable for me to use istick 30w out door.

I see, thank you for your reply, i'm just kinda using it as an allrounder at the minute, to be honest i'd probably be doing the same as you if I had one of those Vapor Sharks, but mainly because its not something you really want to drop, again thanks for the reply, happy vaping.

Thanks for your responses I was just about to buy the 30w for $30 then saw a deal for the 50w for only $39 and couldn't resist the extra battery life.
