I Support Classwife !!!!!

There is a petition, requesting that Classwife be removed as an ECF Moderator. I think that it's an outrage, I have never seen this happen before and I hope that I never see it happen again.

I have known Classy, since she was a new member and she is one of the nicest people on the ECF. As for her moderating, it's top notch.

If someone thinks Classy has been heavy-handed in her moderating, I assume that person has earned extra attention based on his past behavior. I can think of no one on ECF who is more deserving of the nickname "Classy."

Classy has always been there when we have needed her and she is GREAT at her job here.

I cannot believe that someone, who has probably been in trouble on ECF, would have such a nerve to do such a thing! Just proves that there are all kinds of yahoos out there and we seen to have the most!

We should start a petition that makes Classy always be the second hand to J0ker! And kick people like this guy out for not playing by the rules.

It's a tough balancing act to be able to lay down the law while also having a sense of humor, and I think Classy does it well. There's always going to be someone who gets their knickers in a twist when they get reprimanded. Maybe it's just that Classwife is active and happens to be the one who catches a lot? But I have never seen her be prejudicial or vindictive, so I don't get it.

Thanks for posting that link. I can't believe it's even got 10 signatures. Classy is a wonderful moderator-beyond fair and equitable. I've been on both sides of the fence with her, and will defend her to the end. I'm a member of change.org. Should I start a counter-petition or are we going to give this whole thing the lack of attention it deserves?

I don't know her from Adam, but my observations are that she's fair and should NOT be removed as moderator. How do we show support for her in a formal manner?

I didn't post the link to the petition, because I felt that by doing that, I would be helping those who would like to get rid of her.

I can't say I've known Classwife as long as Jerry (since I joined 2.6 months after she did), but every encounter has been stellar.


But maybe it's just me... I like the mods here... even the ones I've not "met" yet.

It's a rough job that takes a lot out of a person, so it requires a person with strength of character. Classy has that.

I've never seen her act in a capricious manner... so I guess I'm at a loss as to why the petition was started.

She has my support. I believe that removing her as a mod would be a loss to ECF as a whole.

to be a ECF's moderator has to 2 face, if you are good as a mod many people are going to hate you, if you dont full fill your job you will be ignore

This is just ridiculous...I can't believe this!!! Classwife has always been very kind and helpful to me and I cannot even imagine ECF without her. Good grief, some people are so petty and childish it astounds me!

If they remove Classwife because of this stupid petition then I will be leaving myself, listen to the many, ignore the few!!!

That's just plain asinine ... as so many others have already said, Classy is named as such for a reason. In my experience, I have seen not only temperance and tolerance from her but also kindness and objectivity. She has my complete support.
