They are the worst when it comes to pushing anti-smoking regulations, waving their hands around and making fake coughing noises if your smoke wafts anywhere near them, and looking down their noses at smokers like they are scum of the earth. When I quit I vowed I would never become a nasty creature like I'd seen many ex-smokers become. It's downright embarrassing how too many of them act.
I may be naive, but I don't see why people go crazy over the feeling that a person should be free of all addictions.
If you enjoy vaping, and nicotine is only marginally bad for you, what's the harm in living your life that way.
When I announced that I had finally quit smoking on facebook, I did have a couple people congratulate me and then quickly interject "Now you just need to ween off that too!" I enjoy the act of vaping, I enjoy my nicotine and I will continue to enjoy my "addiction" until I see fit to quit. If I'm not harming myself or others I don't see the issue.
I'm also addicted to caffeine. I don't see them jumping down my throat when I order a Dr. Pepper.
LMFAO he smokes (OTHER STUFF) as well, and likes to drink...... but my ecig bad.....
I broke up with one (see my blog) and have no contact with the other after he broke my HDD and I caved and had 4 cigs.
I cant believe the ignorance in the statement, "smoke cigarettes or quit" I mean really? So your saying that because I am using an electronic cigarette that I should go back to actual cigarettes? Or should still be sucking down ammonia, arsenic, and tar, just because the patches didn't work for me?

According to my friends, who have been smoking for nearly 20 years, same as me, even after a year or year and a half without cigarettes you still get the odd cravings. Two of them went off the analogs at different time of their lives for a year and more, one of them several times without smoking for up to a year and a half, and guess what, they are still smokers at the moment. One of my friends told me that she woke up one day, went to the shop, bought a pack of cigarettes and started smoking again. I asked why? Was it stress or what? No, she said, I just felt like smoking...She said she used to dream about smoking cigarettes as long as her legs
My point is, ex-smokers aren't less vulnerable to starting smoking again, on the contrary...With e-cigarettes, at least you can try cutting down the nicotine content if you want to decrease the dependancy and so far if you are picking the right e-juice, it looks like vaping is not harmful at all regardless of whether you stop it or not.
