I have used a JoyTech 510 with regular and Oakley tanks, Ego-T with a CE4 cleartomizer, and then I switched that to a DCT cartomizer/tank. ALL of them have leaked!
The 510 tanks all leaked all over my hands. I wasted so much liquid with those that I was getting fed up; that is why I switched to Ego-T. At first I didn't want the large batteries because they seemed so masculine but I decided to embrace my tomboy side and go for it. I have had better luck with CE4s and DCTs but still get leaks. The leaks on these are at the battery and don't flood out but the tanks gurgle and there is less vapor and terrible throat hit. To get the CE4 to work I have to regularly loosen the tip to let fluid out of the area around the metal tip at the top and wipe the battery connection areas down. If I do a few dry hits when the gurgle starts it will get better but uses a lot of fluid.
The DCT didn't last me an entire day. It ran my ego battery down like it was a 510. I use a mix of caramel and cappuccino flavor at 6mg or 0mg (or I use just caramel) and I get a flavor like burnt popcorn at first, after an hour or so it taste better and vapes wonderfully. A few hours later and it's like sucking through a coffee stirrer and there is much less vapor.
I have gotten my husband to start vaping, my sister and her fiance followed our lead, we even have our kid's coaches vaping instead of smoking now. I am glad that no one else is having these issues (well my sister had the issues with the 510 but none with her ego) but I am getting discouraged. I don't know what I am ding wrong but since I am the only one having so much trouble I think it must be me.
Any ideas? Suggestion? Help please...I know this was kinda long but I wanted to get enough information out so I can get to happily vaping.
