I found my joye atomizers lasted about 2 months...the generic ones lasted drastically less. So there's manufacturing quality as 1 reason.

Beyond that - ive found high VG juices clog much more easily. As a result, its easy to burn out an atty unintentionally.

And ive found (due to my own ineptitude) - after cleaning - drench that bloody thing in juice. A clean atty is at the greatest risk to burn out in my experience.

And the ohms will make a difference (though im still not sure why) - 1.5ohm vs 3ohm...the durability is hardly comparable.

And the last factor is simply how often you vape. If you're going through 4ml+ a day - you have to clean more often then someone using 2ml a day.

My latest shipment of attys is current en route...so, heres hoping i can have the kind of success pkj had. Ill have enough atomizers to last me 9 years!

Etch - the higher the ohm rating, the cooler they burn. Lower ohms in an atty will burn hotter and have a shorter life span.

I've only had 1 atty die since August. It was my original one that I started with. It was heartbreaking to have to send him to atty heaven...sniff...he went through alot with me. I miss the little fella.

I killed about 10 in my first two months vaping. I think alot of it had to do with low quality juice. I lost one LR since then. I got a 5 pack of some regular atomizers that were advertised as Joye and for sure were not . I wrote the supplier a letter and he deleted my account. But now like 4 and half months later they are still going strong like the energizer bunny. I have been vaping them @ 5 volts since day one. I make my own juice now so i everything thats in it is high quality and pure really the only thing different then when i started.

Guess I'm doing something wrong too, haven't had an atty die yet in over four months. I only use cartos for driving and when I'm out and about and its more convenient that refilling my carts so the amount they get used varies a lot on different days but a carto easily last me 4 weeks before the taste starts to get a bit harsh and its time to toss it out and start over with a new one. Haven't had a carto actually die on me or get a nasty burnt taste yet.
