I went down to zero for a good month, but I started noticing I had less of a desire to use my vaporizer. And I decided to go back to 3mg, just to add that "hit" to the vape and give me the urge to use it more often. I am now at 1.5mg and I'll prolly stay here.

I am NOT stopping vaping. If I do when I am under stress my internal 5 year old will start my feet walking in go the nearest smoke shop.

I am at 3mg and thinking hard on the step down. @Two_Bears , please take notes on your experiences with not having that small amount of nic. when you want it, if you want it.

I was thinking 3mg for breakfast and just before bed and 0mg all day and into the evening. Since i don't drink, that is not in the equation for me. Yes, please look for changes there, too.

Many here had the intention of vaping to quit everything, but are sitting at 1.5 or 3mg and what to do next. Being able to sit continuously at 0mg NIC would be great. Your experience will be helpful. Thank-you

I am going to zero nicotine until my nicotine tests come back clean...
Nicotine Test Kits | Nicotine Testing from Home Health Testing

I am starting tomorrow.

I went two days without nicotine a few years ago, and had no cravings whatsoever.
So I have no doubt I'll be able to do it, because I am certain I am not addicted to nicotine at this point.

But I'm more interested to see how long it takes to get clean tests.
I have a medical insurance issue I am trying to determine how best to handle.

Anyway, either way I'm going back to nicotine for sure.
I am more than convinced that the health benefits of nicotine outweigh any potential harms.

But as always, looking forward to hearing how others fare in their efforts to go to zero nicotine.
:)

I already can answer that. I had gotten down go 3 mg and I forgot to grab my vape on the way out the door

I need nic in times of stress. After a good meal. When a homeless bum hassles me.waiting for meetings, etc.

I was out go to eat. A family argument broke out. Me with no vape. I bummed two cigarettes, and that undid the good I had done. After two Winston cigarettes my 3mg vape didn't get it. This is why I carry my vape on a lanyard now.

I want to stay at 0. You will have to decide for yourself.[/QUOTE]

I've worked my way down as well. I tried 0 for a couple days but it just isn't the same. If/When I decide to quit, I'll try it again, not ready yet. Now my strong liquids are 3mg and my all day vapes are 1.5 mg. I wish more vendors carried 1.5mg. I mix my own for the most part but enjoy buying something special once in a while. Good luck with the 0mg!!

thanks brother.

An easy way to take smaller steps. Get two bottles the same flavor. 1 3mg 1 0mg. Mix together and you have s double sized bottle of 1.5 mg.

Congratulations on hitting your goal.

My initial Goal was to Stop smoking and I was successful from Puff one. Every day since then my Goal has been to never return.
Started on Cig-a-like style designs at 18mg- Styled, not commercial, after quickly moving to Ego's, I immediately dropped to 12mg.
With better equipment I again dropped to 6mg, then 3mg where I am comfortably vaping now.
I have experimented with 1mg, with good success on a few nice RDA's and the TFV4 so I may take the next venture soon, down to 1gm or 1.5mg.
Perhaps eventually -0-, but no set schedule.

I DIY and very much enjoy the tinkering aspect of vaping, so have no desire to abandon a hobby I enjoy.

Just because I am at 0 nic that does not mean I am leaving vaping. If I did I would find myself on the Stinkies in a week or two.
