For about 3 months now whenever I vape unicorn milk, mother's milk and any other flavor for some reason after I vape and for at least 30 minutes all I can smell is gasoline I've tried switching wires from kenthal to SS to titanium to nic I've tried switching wicking material nothing seems to help except if I switch out wicks every couple of hours and even then that's not 100% I can't enjoy vaping anymore because I can't stand the smell of gasoline. does anyone else have this problem or has anyone else had this problem and found a fix. I'm ready to give all this up sell my stuff on ebay and go back to smoking cigs I use a temp control device with and rda oh I even tried switching from temp to power

I've never vaped unicorn milk or mother's milk. I could not say what the after taste is like.

I'd seriously try some RY4 and see what you think before I'd quit vaping.

Maybe you need to switch to unleaded? Try a new flavor or as suggested DIY might be the way forward.

I've been vaping for almost 3 years and I haven't got a clue as to where to start when it comes to mixing my own juices, for one thing I use nicotine so I would need to find a safe place to purchase the 3 main ingredients plus some flavors like natural strawberry plus vanilla custard and cream then the mixing part how to mix without poisoning myself or my dog with nicotine. Back to my problem with the gas smell or sensation this is new and has only been happening now for like 3 months and I've tried switching juices

Hi and welcome,

What device(s) are you using? Battery and topper/atomizer?
How do you use it? Watts? Volts?, Temp? Resistance of coil? Direct to lung or Mouth to lung?
Can other people smell the gasoline/benzene odor after you vape?

Cheers
I

You can buy the nicotine at whatever level you want, like 6mg, already mixed with your PG/VG preference. All you have to do is add the flavor. You don't have to be a professional mixologist. Buy a premixed flavor like Strawberry Shortcake or Bavarian Cream, or whatever you like. Just add 10-20 percent to your nic juice and you're done. It doesn't have to complicated anymore. The flavor companies make a lot more than simple flavors like almond or peach. Try some Chocolate Glazed Donut, or some Moose Milk. It's really easy.

Would you mind telling me where to get the already mixed pg/vg/nic?

I'm using a Cuboid in TC mode currently set at 120c / 30 watts / 0.77 ohms using SS316L twisted 28 gauge with an RDA Twisted Messer direct to lungs and mouth to lungs and I'm the only one smelling tasting the gas

I compared prices on all the one's mentioned in this forum and My Freedom Smokes was cheapest... I also know nothing about quality but some were happy with it and that's all I needed.

I just found a place called heartland vapes they charge $30 for 1000 ml 50pg/50vg with nicotine and the nic ranges from 3 mg all the way up to your dead if you spell any on your skin and someone starts singing the hearse song 100 mg

Interesting, I've been dealing with this for a little over a year and have been vaping for three years. It's called olfactory hallucination. I smell almost what I can best describe as a charcoal type of smell. Had all kinds of tests and they can't find anything. Don't know whether it's vaping or just coincidental. I know someone else mentioned it happening to them on a thread back a year or two back.
RayBone, I wish you the best of luck and I hope this will subside shortly. It is definitely strange and annoying but the only thing I can say is that it's lessened in the last few months but on occasion it still happens.

100mg/ml isn't quite that dangerous, as far as skin contact.;) Always mix at the sink, and rinse well when there's any spillage on skin, and you should be fine (most people I've ever heard about have been, but I obviously can't speak for every individual). I've dribbled a bit of 100mg on my fingers during mixing, and I did just that with no side effects. :thumb:

Don't have the gasoline but definitely BBQ like smell. Very strong to the point that it takes my breath away. Again, best of luck. Try changing to an unflavored. I use the menthol pretty much exclusively and thought it might be that.

I thought I smelled gas the other day too, But I realized It was the beater car I was driving, No Joke, I had to take our beater to work that we only drive when we have to. But on the Heartland, I have used them quite a bit and find them to be a stand-up Company from nic to flavors and good shipping.
