hi everyone, i am new vaping. i bought a ego w pen style ( they wrote ego c on the battery) might be a cheap knock off. the problem with mine is i think my atomizer is either gone kaputs or the wire is not meant to last that long. i have been using my ecig for about a month. at first everything was good. but on the 3rd week i started having burnt taste , leaking/condensation issues and the atomizer didnt fire eventhough my battery was fully charged and fully functional. i dont know whether the atomizer is not meant to last long or its some factory defects? i hope someone could provide me with some info. thank you :)

by the way , i tried to get rid of the burnt taste by washing the atomizer by carefly removing the atomizer from the stock tank that was in the kit. after succesfully washing it , i dried it with a kitchen towel. after that i assembled everything back together and tried firing the ecig to dry off any excess water thats present in the wick, thats when the wire thats wraped around the wick broke off ( one side) the one that broke off i believe its the negative wire, after my luck to position the broken wire in order for it to touch the wire, the positive wire thats solderd on to the bottom part of the atomizer came off. the wire including the solder came off thats when i knew its was the end. and i need ro find a new tank.

Just buy a new cartomiser.
The one you have is toast. When you clean these, you can not twist.. only push and pull straight.
Ego-W/Ego F1/ TW Varivolt cartos all the same.

Good luck

The Ego W/C uses a cleromizer. It's probably dead after a month if you haven't cleaned it. You may need to buy a new Ego-W/F1 carto. You may want to try to get an evod or mini protank to go on there, the heads are much cheaper to replace than the whole carto. The evod looks similar to the carto for these but the pen cap may not fit on the evod.

thank you so much everyone. i dont know how to post pictures, but the picture Izan posted is exactly the same one , the only difference is mine is green in colour. i thought of replacing the coil myself, the only problem is i dont have a soldering machine. speaking about protanks, other tanks like , protank or megatwix, how long will their coil last?

Great device for a beginner: would be a EVOD. They're easy to fill, reliable and very easy to replace the heads and rebuild them if/when you are ready.
EVOD Electronic Cigarettes Round Mouth Atomizer: fasttech.com/products/0/10004691/1363501-evod-electronic-cigarettes-round-mouth-atomizer-15
EVOD Electronic Cigarettes Atomizer Heating Core (5-Pack) : fasttech.com/product/1387600

Watch some youtube video on how to clean, and dry burn on EVOD. It's easier to see than try to explain it.

Cheers.

thank you so much for advice :toast: i will have a look at evod.
hahaha i am a man, maybe i sholud change my username:laugh:
.
based on your experince which type of tank or atomizer is the easiest to clean and maintain ?

If you like the top coil flavour and vapor temp, then a Vision VIVI nova/Mini nova will give a similar vape the the F1/ego-w.
They have replaceable/ rebuild-able heads and do a really nice job of not leaking. (save condensation spits).

Similarly, the BCC type: evod/Protank/Davide/Anyvape are just as easy to use and provide a bit cooler vape. Heads are similarly replaceable/ rebuild-able.

i see, cooler vape? i got use to the top coil vapor , with the hassel of needing to tilt for avoiding dry vape and the mouth piece getting hot. but i like the idea of a cooler vape , will be like shisha , cold vapor. but from ur experience which taste/feels better, bottom or top coil ( warm or cold vapor)?
rebuildable sounds nice but living in "fine country" i am worried i cant find the items if it comes to an emergency. taste wise i am still new, i am not sure whether top coils are meant to have that slight burnt tastw when the coil get hot after some time?

I replace my coils once a week. At $4.99 for a 5 pack, I don't bother trying to clean them....not worth the hassle. Just toss it and put in a new one.

I fried one a couple weeks ago....put in a fresh one and as I was screwing down the clearo I hit the battery button by accident. Usually the battery is off until I have it all together then turn it on after a few mins to let the wick soak, somehow this one escaped. It fired up on that dry wick and man....talk about smell bad and taste wicked nasty....completely carbonized and ruined that wick. I tried to let it sit, but no way...every puff was like dry paper....nasty.....
