dead as a door nail. the LED still lights up when i draw but it's not firing.

i have a auto echo lying around. i was toying with the idea of trying to swap the control boards.....

Have you considered getting a manual battery? ;)

So sorry. Thanks for the update.

You might have better luck just switching the thread caps, assuming the Echo and eGo are the same diameter.

I agree with going to the sealed manual battery to prevent any other future problems plus IMO they out perform the autos, if your already using ego products might as well get a twist.

I wouldn't say a manual out performs an auto. They both give very different vaping experiences, even beyond the act of pushing a button. A manual is much less resistant to damage from leaking, this much is true. But the pleasure I get from vaping on an auto far outweighs the benefits of any manual I've ever used, to the point that I have given away or traded all of my manuals. Right now I'm dipping on a super mini because this is the only method to keep me from craving a cigarette. And I used to drip on my manuals, but I still smoked while doing so.

I agree. The only reason I even mentioned manual batteries was that OP had a problem (quite common) with his. Plenty of people love autos and swear by them because they so closely imitate smoking--muscle memory. :) Others want to get as far away from "smoking" as they can and search for the biggest, baddest mods, which, IMO, look more like car mufflers than cigarettes. ;)

To each his own. Whatever works is good! :)

Happy vaping!
