I got my new roughstack in the mail yesterday, and two batteries with it. I immediately filled a carto and started vaping on one while I put the other on the charger. A couple hours later, the other battery was done and I switched them out. The freshly charged battery worked great for about 10 minutes, then just stopped working completely. I tried the other battery and it fired right up, but this one was just dead. I put it back on the charger and the light just stayed green, as of I eithe hadn't out a battery in at all or it was still fully charged.

It's a trustfire 18350 protected from madvapes. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I only use an Ego and a Riva, but i do know the charger has to be matched to the batteries. In the past, I used an E power and when I ordered new batteries and put them on the original E Power charger, they did not charge. the charging light just stayed green.

On the Riva, when the light stays green and I know the battery needs a charge, I know its time to clean the terminals with alcohol. Swab it on with a Qtip on both connections and it works again.

Well, the battery had already been fully charged, and worked for 10 minutes before shutting down completely. The contacts on the battery and the charger are clean. I will contact MV about it, but since they are moving, it would at least a week before I could get a replacement from them as near as I can tell. I may just get a pair of AWs from somewhere else and keep the working trustfire as a backup.

I can tell you from personal experience and test charts from the Batt forum that Trustfire batts performance drops off a cliff after 50% discharge while the IW batts perform like a champ. I own TF and IW batts and it's well worth the extra $$ buying the IWs IMO.

I verified that the carto wasn't the issue, as it works fine with the other battery and on an Ego. I'll try cleanign the battery again (when I get home later tonight) and the next time I order any supplies, I'll order a mulitimeter as well. I should have one anyway, I suppose.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. Anyone have a recommendation for a reputable supplier to get the AWs?
