I think my batteries are shot already

I've got the 510 from Cignot and was very very happy with it until my atty got flooded (or so I thought) and I washed them all with the alcohol thing and they never worked the same. So I was advised to remove the wick and voila the atty was back again. But I was dripping, and I saw on the faq's that you shouldn't drip if your battery has a hole in it. Well my big big battery does not but the little ones that came with the kit has an indentation but I can't get anything through it like a paper clip or toothpick so I thought I could drip with it. However, I get lots of vapor but very very little "hit".

Plus I have to drag so long on it to get anything at all that I'm changing batteries constantly and I mean constantly. Even the big one doesn't last but 3 or 4 drags. What the hell am I doing wrong now? Please! HELPPPPPPPPP

Are your batteries (the originals) autos? As in, do you have to drag on it to make it work, as opposed to pushing a button?
Yeah as youve discovered, you can't drip with autos because juice can get inside hte battery and ruin it; they aren't designed to lend themselves to drip with in the way manuals are
If they are auto batteries and aren't working now then Im sorry to tell you that they are probably dead, or pretty much. I don't know if you can save it - but if anyone has a fix idea I'm sure they will be along to mention it.
If they aren't autos (and some manuals have the indentation you speak of,) then you can get juice all over them and that won't break or damage them.
The problem is more likely the atty itself or possibly the juice you are using. Have you switched out to a new atty and tried it? Do you get the same issue?
Personally I dont ever remove wicks, I know plenty do and have good results, but I'm too nervous to start poking about in there - I'm sure it would end badly lol
FYI I find TH, flavor, vapor all vary between juices.

The batts are manual so that's good news. Should have tried a new atty before I posted...wick intact, everything working ok now. Dang I just bought that new atty and I've pulled the wicks out of all the originals! It's working good now; looks like I need more atty's, thanks!

Edit: How long do atty's generally last? I'm really new at this.

I don't know how long you have had them but most vendors offer some kind of warranty on the attys. I have had a couple before that died within the first hour of use. Maybe you should contact cignot. I am not sure what they will think about pulling the wick out though. They might say that you damaged them. It's worth a shot anyway.

In my experience, by about 6 weeks depending on how much you're vaping, a 510 (180mah) will only hold a charge for around 1/2 - 45 minutes.

This is the number one reason many people will quickly ditch this system and upgrade to a better battery with longer life.

My atty's generally last anywhere from 2 weeks to a month. I had some that have died after only a week though.

I've been having a similar experience. My 510 batteries don't seem to last very long. I bought a PCC which helps tremendously, but still wondering if there are other options out there. Do the Mega 510 batteries work with a regular 510 atomizer? They won't fit in the PCC though right?

megas do fit but you cant close the lid,some people use an elastic to hold the lid for charging,any 510 atty will fit a mega battery.

The Ego battery (650mah) works with 510 carts, but you will also want the Ego charger. You can use the 510 charger but it will take hours to charge an Ego batt.

I priced 2 batts, a AC charger, and a USB adapter for the wall charger, and 2 cones, and it came up to over $60. For $78 you can get the Ego kit with 2 complete cigs with attys and carts, the wall charger, USB adapter, 2 cones, and a 5 pack of pre-filled carts for $78. By the time you bought the pre-filled carts and the attys, you might as well get the kit that comes with a 28 day warranty instead of 2 weeks for the piece parts.

I also have the 510 kit with the PCC and the USB passthrough. The USB passthrough is still good for both E-cigs. The PCC, of course, will not fit the Ego batts.

I still use both the 510 and the Ego but usually take the Ego if I'm going to be gone from home for a while. Keep the PCC charged just in case and use both around the house. The PCC will get you out of a jam if there's a power outage from all these summer thinderstorms (grin). I know, that's being way too forward thinking, but I'd rather have the PCC charged than not! In our area, it's not uncommon to have power outages 2 or 3 times in a summer during a heavy "purple rain" thunderstorm.

How long do atty's generally last? I'm really new at this.

Atomizer life varies greatly by user and quality (some atties can just be duds). I get an average of about two weeks out of my atties. It's not that they die on me, they just usually get clogged enough by that point that I'm not getting enough vapor to be satisfied. Rather than fight it, I swap it for a fresh one.

Blowing excess juice out of the atomizer periodically will help extend it's usable lifespan.

so far the two originial atties that i have from cignot are still working like a champ. Im not seeing any decrease in performance but i have noticed that VG clogs them quicker (i drip) and now considering staying away from VG all together. PG works fine for me.

Did you get your juice from Cignot also?

Most are 100% VG with loads of vapor but very little th (the way I like it).
With their Chill for example, it's like no th at all.
