Man, I love my USB passthrough. Easy draw, tons of vapor and I can just vape my brains out without worrying about battery life. Seems like I have to put twice the draw on my 510 batteries to get close to the same experience as I do with my passthrough. I really wish I could figure out a way to make this thing more portable so I didn't have to rely on a computer or wall outlet to make it run.... But then I'd be back to batteries again.

Maybe I should just spend more time at my computer. :D

Yep, i can relate. Buy yourself a 6v mod or use a LR attie on 3.7.

Both worked for me;)
I've currently got a buddy working on a couple of box mods for the wife and I with 14500 batteries. I'm hoping that will take care of the battery issues. In the meantime, I'm hitting this passthrough almost non stop.

Not here.
I love my 5v passthrough, but I finally got annoyed being tethered to it!

I finally broke down and bought a mod. There are a lot of 5v choices that have batteries that only need to be charged once every day or two.

I ended up choosing Box Mods variable voltage Little Sister, but I really NEED both a Saber Touch standard and mini, too.

My (original) Puresmoker PT spoiled me to high(er) voltage too, but it won't be long before you're buying a mod the size of jump rope handle with a battery that'll last for 2 days... because trust me, once you're un-tethered, you'll never plug that thing in again. :)
I'm afraid you might be right.
The more I look at 5V verses 3.7, I keep thinking I may have to up the anti soon! :D
You can get a Kensington power pack which isn't very big to carry around then you can use your USB passthrough out and about :D
Believe me. I've thought about that but finding a wall outlet can still be a pain sometimes... especially outside. :D

It's a portable battery pack you can keep it in your pocket, no need for a wall outlet till it runs down :)

Kensington Portable Power Pack

I've seen them a bit cheaper than this, but that's the one you want, and it's not that big, i've used one before and it easily fitted in my jacket pocket.
OK! Now we're talkin'!
Just might have to order one of those if this Box Mod thing doesn't play out..... Or I might order one anyway! :D

This is exactly what I'm counting on.

It's great not having to use batteries but I'm starting to hate the tethered feeling.

I have a KR808 and the batteries are down to lasting about an hour or so. It takes longer to charge them than they last lol.

Every time I'm away from a computer I get this feeling that I'm going to run out of juice before I get back, it's been close a couple of times.

I have a mod on order but in the mean time my passthrough is starting to misfire (button is going). I hope it gets here soon.

I stole my wife's passthrough. Mine stopped working and I asked her if she used hers. It was still in the box, unopened. She told me that she had no desire to use it. She uses her PV and I'm glad of that. She still smokes, but is slowly weening herself off. If she ever decides she wants it back, I'll just buy her a new one. I LOVE waking up in the morning with fresh charged batteries!

I got a USB passthru a few months ago and really loved it...but it's seriously lost its power now. Probably due to overuse and overcharging; I suspect I've killed the battery. it's been plugged into my keyboard USB for like, two months and I can barely get any draw off it anymore.
Battery?

You don need no steenking battery!

This is the model I've been using from Mad Vapes:

MadVapes 5 Volt 510 Manual USB Passthrough
