I tried to build a coil, after wetting with juice it still produces a metal smoke?

I would try to tighten them up a little and replace the cotton after dry burning them without cotton before using again.

still the same, do u think its safe to smoke it still? its not the worst tasking and theres some eliquid flavour there?

I wonder if it's just the e-liquid you're using then. Or perhaps the wattage is too high. (I know you stated .17, but sometimes ohms fluctuate drastically if there's an unseen short...some mods fire even if the coil is touching an rda sleeve)

It may be just the picture but it looks as if you need a lot more cotton through the coil and the tails.
Did you view any videos on utube that show how to wick and coil your tank?

That metal taste usually comes from a coil that is barely grounding out, touching the base or something else just enough to cause a arc. I would`nt vape with it until you find out what going on.

I tried a different cotten and now its stopped, it was the cotton
