I ordered one of those on a order long long ago in a land far far away... and they missed putting the top needle cap in... I kept forgetting to make a ticket or mention on the comments of latter orders... still haven't remember but at the same time... I ordered a different one from them that I absolutely love because it takes the luer lock needle tips...

If you haven't tried one yet... see Cartomizer 15ml Bottle Applicator Kit [gotvapes-bottleapplicatorkt-15ml] - $3.79 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more these are way cool, you can select which size needle you need to use so you can use the largest diameter you can for a carto, atty, tank that you need.
I have 5 of those already :laugh::laugh: I have both kinds and just like the ease of the first one I mentioned cuz all ya do is pop the rubber lid back on it after ya done wiff it. I know lazy monkey

I don't know about that miss mama monkey... this may be a matter of picking your poison...

I've got some huge gauge blunt needles ( they didn't say what size ) that, to me, makes it easier to squeeze the bottle than the time it takes for me to switch from the cap to the needle. Of course, these needles don't fit the smaller holes seen on some atty, carto's etc either... so on those, I'd still be using a finer gauge needle

Finally got around to try the T5. I've been dealing with an allergic reaction (rash/eczema on my palms) to either PG or a specific juice I bought elsewhere, don't know which just yet, and stopped vaping for a week. Now only vaping 100% VG and not using the suspect juice. Still have some eczema but it is definitely healing.

I filled the T5 for the first time last night. I took off the rubber thingy and put a few drops of juice on the coils and down the wicks and put the silicon thingy back on. It filled rather easily with an average glass dropper but one has to be very careful not to go too fast. Slow and easy does it with the T5 tilted at 45 degree angle. I let it sit for a few minutes.

The few initial hits were rather dry with little vapor production. It vaped like this for a good while, maybe 20 puffs or so. Then it started vaping quite well. Nice clouds of vapor and very nice taste. Strangely, for a top coil, the vapor was (and still is) quite cool at 3.9 volts and a coil rated at 2.4 ohm which measured 2.6ohm on my multimeter. Found the sweet spot at 4.4v with nice warm vapor.

After vaping a little more than half the capacity, it started to vape dry again, just like it did initially. This went on for longer this time, about 40 puffs, and suddenly it started to vape good again. After maybe another 40 puffs it did it again, dry, low vapor hits, but never burning, just low vapor production. At this point I thought maybe the juice level was too low so I refilled it. Nope, still low vapor.

I put the T5 down overnight thinking maybe I had a bad unit and would look at it again today. When I picked it up a couple hours ago, it started slow but after maybe 5 puffs it got going even better than before and its been vaping quite well since. Right now, it started gurgling a bit after putting it down for a minute to compare it with a T3. Put the T5 back on and it was gurgling (It stood straight up, never laid on its side so it's overwicking). Took it off the battery and blew juice out and a good drop came out on the napkin, gurgling gone, for now at least. Found a little juice on the battery post so it did leak a little while it gurgled.

Too early for final conclusion as I've only vaped two tankfuls so these are only my initial impressions. It vapes very well when it's going good but seems to have a not very serious overwicking issue. It may take a tankful to break it in properly and it may gurgle from time to time. All in all a very good unit. I still prefer the T3 as I prefer its cooler vapor, its refill ease, and its total lack of leaks. But the T5 is definitely at least worth a try. I will play with it more to see if I can fix the overwicking issue as it works fine otherwise.

Note: Just now it started to gurgle very slightly. I took it up to 4.8v and the gurgling cleared up. Taste still good and warm vapor top notch at 4.8v. So this unit may like slightly higher voltages to keep up with the overwicking. It is vaping up a storm right now. It is almost empty, let me refill it once again and see.... With a full tank it is now vaping thinly, not nearly as bad as before but definitely not as good as when it was almost empty. Some gurgling now, a little leak below, blew a good drop of juice out and voila, it's vaping good again. So yes, definitely an overwicking issue.

Unfortunately the T5 wick is totally dependent on good Drip tip Pressure to maintain decent coil post contact. This is probably the reason for inconsistent performance.
Like others I have also noticed more gurgle/flooding as time/usage passes. By the third fill it has gotten rather bad. A replacement wick will probably correct this for a few tanks. Unfortunately this makes the T5 a higher cost unit to use as compared to any of the T2/T3 series.

I've really been enjoying these & really quite like their easy cool (cheaper!) 'push-on' coil-heads. And I've been getting really good vapour production, comparable to any of the Kanger T's before, or the Vision or Vivi Nova for that matter. I have found a slight inconsistency with the heads (tho' this is pretty much true of any), where some vape 'normally' whilst others burn much brighter, to the point where u can see the whole 'rubber head' shine with an orange glow from the coil. (These one's whilst looking like they are dry-burning aren't actually, don't taste burnt, & throw out plumes of vape.) These are my fave ones, & really vape brilliantly (no pun intended), tho they seem to be the rarer odd-few-here-&-there ones unfortunately.
So whilst overall I'm pretty happy with these, I have HOWEVER also noticed the gurgling & leaking into batts happening after they start getting along. This is rather frustrating & I can't really work out exactly why they develop this only 'as they get along' & not 'at first' (??) But I too suspect that it must be an over-wicking problem. (Coz they seem to be pretty well sealed up everywhere otherwise). Blowing them out & hiking up the voltage DOES certainly seem to help somewhat with this issue tho. BUT I do wish they didn't develop this annoying characteristic, coz otherwise I'd have no other complaints 'bout these - I kinda like them.

Oh yeah, there is one other drawback. And that is, they're probably not quite as suitable for the 'DIY rebuildable enthusiast' as they might at first appear. I found them pretty much nigh on impossible to re-wick/coil without totally loosing my cool. :) Certainly not something one can just whip up in a couple of minutes like others of the ilk. With a bit (alot!) of fiddling it would/is ultimately possible to do so. BUT it would take very good nimble fingers, excellent eye-sight & the patience of a saint to do so. (LOL)
So really only advisable if one wants to prove to oneself (or others !?) it can be done. Otherwise I think these are just far more viable 'as replaceables' rather. In fact, I imagine that's exactly the reason they've been designed the way they have -> to discourage DIY rebuilding. ... (I certainly won't be trying to re-coil another T5 head any time soon. In fact I'd gladly rather pay double for a new head just so I don't have to.) :)
