I've been using my Joye 510 for almost 4 months now. Almost every other day I get the urge to pick up a cigarette and get some REAL satisfaction. I'm starting to get annoyed from my 510. The heaven-gifts e-juice i've been using all taste the same now. The annoying part is when the juice starts spewing in your mouth every other hit. My clouds seem to be weaker now as well. I'm ready to give up on vaping when my stock runs out. Or should I switch to a better vaporizer? Any suggestions comments would be nice. Marlboro red where are you....

Btw I have over 7 flavors from heaven-gifts and they just dont taste the same any more. Are the premium e-juices really any much better? 24mg cheap grade isnt really helping me anymore, sometimes I wonder if they watered mine down.

I'm also getting the urge to eat more, is this because of the lack of nicotine?

I drip directly on the atty and it gives more of a throat hit in my opinon, have you tried that? Also, I do not own a mod but Ive heard they are more powerful and perhaps more satisfying than a analog. Anyway, I think you should just keep vaping, seems it is better for you. I know when I think about smoking again, this tightness in my chest and almost wanting to throw up from taste. The thought keeps me away. GL!!!

Time to invest in some new attys (great buys out there if you look!!).

Also you can check out some real flavor. Dekang liquids have totally turned me off... I've looked to other avenues. There are some terrific USA made e-liquids available. Try out Tasty Vapor (make your own mix of flavors) or try some of the favorites like Atomic Fireball (red hot cinnamon that is getting rave reviews, I just tried it yesterday and WOW.... really tasty) as well as his chocolate/banana/pecan or caramel/chocolate/walnut and a really yummy minty menthol with a hint of vanilla! It is my all day favorite!

Purchase a 4oz "Doubler" and the matching Nicotine Liquid and you've got great taste for a cheap price. Geoff's a great guy and his service is unmatched!

What I have found is that Juice from a 510 atty is a sign that its on its way out and you can try cleaning it to revive it, or put in a new one.

510's are very good devices if treated right, but really work well with a mod to extend battery life and put some more power onto the atty.

I got some juice from HG, no problems with it.

As a side note, I do have a cig every now and then - it doesnt bother me. I consider myself a vaper, I have a cig cos I enjoy it occasionally but way prefer vaping day-to-day.

No ,sometimes a bad batch gets out though... but normally I would say no not really

Don't ditch the 510 just yet. Get a new atomizer, TW and TECC sell awesome atty's for the 510. Up your nicotine level. Try 36mg. Or 24mg from a different vendor. Try someone else's juice. Don't overfill the cartridge when topping off. If the cart floods the atty you can get juice in your mouth. I eat more too. There are pg, vg, and pg/vg mixes that you can try with the nicotine and flavors. Analogs are gross. Some liquids can be gross too. You have to find what's right for you.

I failed a few weeks ago after 140 days vape free.
My entire 5 pack of 510 attys were dead and my order shipped half way across the country, before it finally bounced back here 4 days too late.

I was half way though a pack of American Spirits by this point, and have bought about 3 packs since.

You're right about the juice too, I got Mild 7, Cigar, French Pipe, everything tastes sickly sweet, the atty death rate is too much, PG upsets my stomach something rotten, I can't handle all of this fuss. It's a freakin' shame because I was doing so well.

Now I suspect one last thing that I't about to look into. That perhaps my battery charge on 3 month old batteries is just not cutting it anymore, perhaps I'm under-powering my atomizers.

If that fails, its back to the drawing board.

Build a mod, or buy something like the Chuck. Try another atty, and/or buy more so you can alternate so you can keep them clean. If you don't want to try dripping, look up the silicone plug. Try other liquid.
Otherwise, there are a ton of other options than going back to analogs.
And when you think seriously about going back to analogs again, remember how much better you feel and smell.

I couldn't get happy with the 510. I switched to a different model (M201) and enjoy using it and am able to stay away from the cigs.

Try different models (or mods) until you find the one that works for you.

It sounds like you need to do some maintenence - clean the atty and the filler. You shouldn't suddenly be getting mouthfuls of liquid. You may need to up your nicotine or suppliment with Snus. Some people need more than just the nicotine.

Yes, the flavor is better with HV liquids like nhaler's, IMO. Or get the double flavor from DIYflavorshack.

Also consider a modified cart filler. I've had success with 2 of these and Eclypse swears by the blue foam:

I've been leaning more towards the PTB straw mod. It's just so much easier to make and refill. I hate having to pop out the plugs to refill and I seem to just slam down that liquid!

I only made one silicone plug. It's an awesome concept, but still needs tweeking and I don't have enough caps to make a lot of them.

I bought some EVA foam crafting sheets and that works well, too (just like the silicone), but it's still a PIA "plug," lol!

Refilling it so easy with the PTB Straw mod and the taste is good and it uses up most of the liquid. I'm always game to try new things, though!

I have tons of eliquid from numerous suppliers anywhere from 100mg to 24mg. The only eliquid I find with the most flavor and by far the best I have tried is from Totally Wicked. It cost a little more but it is well worth it. If you overfill the cartridge or drip too much eliquid you will get nicotine in your mouth. I have finally learned how much to use.

There will always be frustration in vaping. Atomizers and batteries that don't function just right. You will be charging and recharging batteries. There will be times it just doesn't work right and you feel like giving up.
Then there are times it works great. There seems to be more times it is not working right than wrong. There are times I just want to give up. Then I remember how much better I breathe and feel and I keep on vaping.

Its up to you if you want to keep vaping. You have to do what is better for yourself.

Thanks for all the good intel. I popped in a new atty and it's working just like it did when i first got it. I'm getting some satisfying hits now, but the primer taste is awful. I'm dripping instead of topping off the carts and it's so much better. I'm also in the process of cleaning out the rest of my atties right now so I can use them in the future. Oh that nicotine buzz feels so good. Or is it the primer, =x idk.

Btw I'll check out the blue foam fill method. I still have to use up all my pyramids first. Thanks again.

I've only liked one out of the five flavors i got from TW. It just goes to show that you have to shop around and find out what you like. It's not just flavors, but the manufacturers as well. i wish there were an easy answer.

P.S. Flavors from TW. Green Tea is great, Ginseng is medicinal, French Pipe is too sweet, Cigar is too dirty, and Spearmint is totally undo-able. Got it for my girlfriend, the menthol smoker.
