Get a magma and set the airflow to single hole.
I've got a Magma, and although there are two holes for AFC on the sides of the deck, there is a graduated 'wheel' that spins around the atty that you can control the air with. Light and airy or tighter and 'more flavor', this is a sweet little dripper. If you do dual coils, you need that kind of control. Not hard to build, either I love it!That Magma intrigues me, that deep juice well. But the pics I'm seeing online, it looks like there are 2 holes in the coil-mounting area, are they air holes? I like a fairly tight draw, which is why I've been following this thread quite avidly -- I also like single-coil, one air hole designs.
I'm guessing that rayon would wick like a champ in that, with those long wick ends dangling into the juice well.

Gotcha. I thought it was just one w/o afc. Thanks for the correction! The tugboat v1 has two very generously sized air holes, and no afc. The v2 also has two air holes, but has afc so you can block one of them off.

It's a shot in the dark at the very least. None of my top caps are interchangeable except the two Igo caps.that stillare v2i looks good, but i want SS posts for sure. i was actually thinking about doing just that with the igo-l top cap too. i think what i might do is grab one of those and the magma or the origen and maybe that too. though i was checking this patriot clone out and i kinda like the top cap more. think it'd fit on an igo-w base? hard to say what to do, but certainly a combination of some of these things will be in my future, hehe.
Yeah I looked at a bunch of pics on google, and I did see a lot of duals on it, but I finally did see a nice single; looks like it ought to be mounted sorta diagonally, so the wick can be diagonal into the sides of the well, like the coil and wick make an X. I might just have to try this one out, if I can find a really inexpensive clone.
