Hello steamers

I really need some good advice here, I know quite simply not know what to do, I hoped that the e-cigarette could give me pleasure and no desire for tobacco without all the drawbacks. But I must say I was a little disappointed, I've had my e-cigarette in about 4 days now, it's a tornado tank from totally wicked. When I got it I was very impressed with all the steam and how I could make smoke rings and everything I knew from regular cigarettes. But I felt I lacked that wonderful feeling that a cigarette, nicotine and good taste, but I thought maybe I had just a very high nicotine level in blood, so it could be why I could not feel it, so I would try to see how it functioned as a "morning cigarette," and I tried to put a notch stronger Cartomizer in (it should just say I only have the prefilled Cartomizers accompanying tornado) so now I was up at the one called "high" as is 18 mg, and all together with tobacco taste, but still I think I lacked enjoyment and I still want a cigarette, and I also have 2 out of four days in the city where I have smoked regular cigarettes, secondly, I have not taken tornado and I believe still do not think I would be able to have left when there were friends and alcohol. I really know not what I do, I hope so it can go in and replace my cigarette, without cravings and I also get enjoyment, but I still really the kick, and the lovely feeling, and the right taste.

Thank you in advance, and sorry my bad English.

You don't get a buzz with ecigs. The buzz of real cigarettes is the carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide because you are breathing burning stuff.

But some suggestions for a better experience -
Try other juices
Smell the vapor - taste is only part of the flavor
Use tobacco flavor juices if food flavor juices don't relax you
Some complain of lack of flavor with tanks so try a standard atomizer & drip tip, try Boge cartomizers (.0 for warm. 2.0 for hotter and power faster)

For more TH - nicotine in high PG juices + heat (like LR cartomizers, LR atomizers)
PG lets through the most TH, and heat enhances nicotine's TH

You can't get a buzz you you can find that "ahhhh" feeling

VapingRulz is correct with the nicotine level. Higher levels are one component that will give you more throat hit. The other two components for strong throat hit are higher PG levels in the juice and more voltage in your device.

The Tornado is just a rebranded eGo, so you might only be getting 3.4V out of that battery. Try using juices with 24mg and more PG in the mix and see if that works for you.

Happy Vaping!

The problem may be the liquid, which is not what I would call a "high" nicotine level. You may need 24mg or 36mg to begin with. Also, you will need to try different flavors of liquid to find your favorite(s).

I don't know much about the Tornado but it seems like a good, strong e-cig, so it's probably not the problem.

+1

Also, try a 510 LR atty and a drip tip with the stronger juice. IMO the tank is weak. My$.02

As a newbie also I have to say-what got me through is "smell". I ordered 3 different e-cigs to start and all 3 came with the prefilled usa mix 18mg. It was completely different on all 3 e-cigs. But on the 510 model the aroma was unbelievable. The vapor smelled like a cigar. I've never been a cigar smoker, but have always enjoyed that smell. Somehow that aroma had me picking up the 510 model far more frequently than the others and made me feel like I was "smoking". On the 8th day my taste buds suddenly came to life, and now I find I don't enjoy the flavor of those prefilled carts even though I like the smell. For the past 24 hours I've been glued to the manual ego with a dripomizer sampling all the juice I bought-which I can finally TASTE! Hang in there, it will get better as the days progress. :)

Welcome to ECF !!

I love how the language translator changes vapers to steamers !

Your Tornado is a nice device. The feel of vaping is different than smoking. You will adjust to it. But you probably do need a stronger higher nic liquid for right now.
Don't worry about smoking cigarettes, some people change to vaping only right off and some don't. Any cigarette you don't smoke is a success !

Try thinking of it as changing brands....relax and enjoy. You'll get there !

Another newb here, and all in all, the best thing you can do is EXPERIMENT! Try different juices, cartos, attys, carts, tanks, drip-tips, batteries, models, blends, flavors, etc. And then, mix and match. You will find new stuff all the time to love!

I have only been at this for a week and a half without analogs, and so far, loving every moment! It's always something new to try!

The one single thing I learned over time with E-Cigs is patience, patience, patience.

Give it time, don't give up or get frustrated too quickly, keep trying different PV's and juices, until you discover your own personal combination of favorite PV, juice holder, and juice that works for you.

It takes time, and there is some trial and error involved along the way to successful vaping for each one of us.

You're in the right place, with other Steamers. :)

Many thanks for your help, glad to hear it's not just me who has had it so far, I have ordered 24 mg liquid with tobacco taste, which according to the dealer should give much steam and throat scratchy, it's called "Blended Virginia." Starts just to see how it works with more nicotine, because I really had an impression of my Tornado Tank to be quite good and have not even game much money this month.

- And yes, google translate is amazing

Stay with it, you can make it. Smoking is intensely personal and subjective, spend as much time as you can filtering through the TONS of info available here, you will eventually find what works for you. As you read you will also find that there are certain posters you agree with more often, people whose taste and experience is close to your own. Seek out their posts ( do a search).

When you get frustrated, just relax and try to take a long term view. Stay with it, you can make it.

It sounds like what you are looking for is the "inhaled feel" of a cigarette. We call it throat hit. There are two main parts of good throat hit: warmth of the vapor which comes with more power and nicotine strength, higher providing more.

Try some 24mg and some 36mg nicotine strength liquid. Then get a better PV (personal vaporizer) with more power and thus warmer vaper. That comes down to either a good 5 volt PV or a good variable volt PV. There are a number of good ones. I will suggest two that I know are top quality and are well supported by hundreds on ECF:

5 volt GLV2: Electronic Cigarettes and E-Liquid - Great Lakes Vapor

Variable volt Darwin: Nhaler

Note: you can also try some LR or dual coil attys/cartos on your current PV which will provide warmer vapor. They just don't hold up too long. But it may be worth a shot.

I bought an e-cig from local vendor and used it for weeks in conjunction w/smoking--waste of time and money IMO. Finally went to vaping: 3packs of marl UL/day... then 1.5... then 1... then 2 days of chain vaping and where is the buzz... now I'm fine with it--just chain vaped and drank beer np all night 2 days ago... It gets better--I like the nic and the habits now, can live w/o a buzz.

Soeren, welcome to ECF! There is so much help and encouragement from this wonderful group of fine people. You may just wind up addicted to the website!! I know I am and it's been almost a year since I joined. These folks are my extended family and sooooooo very helpful to new people who join. I don't skip many days between posts. Circumstances keep me from getting on the computer everyday, but I try. :) The people are so patient and really want to help others.

Smoking real cigarettes versus an electronic cigarette is not the same. Even the brand flavored juice is yucky, BUT, who you buy from plays a big role. I love Cignot, but you might not. They are just so encouraging, but I've heard most are. Since I suffer from chronic fatigue, I don't get out much, but my life still goes on......I'm about to become a veteran member as it'll be a year in a few days that. I'm rather excited about that. If I can do it, anyone can do it. I was so tied to my analogs, it would have taken a miracle.....well, it happened!.....a year ago! I kept all of my smoking supplies and put them out of sight......at my own conveinence....AND I saw the compassion of Jesus, and as a Christian, I couldn't pass that up!

when i really need to kick that craving of an analog, i go to my provari and put it up to 6volts. 3.7v + 1.5ohm attie mimics high voltage, it, but there's something about 6volts that really hits the spot. (5v tends to be the most popular sweet spot).

also, i know "throat hit" tends to be a big thing, which you already get from the nicotine, but more PG based juice does this also. BUT personally..i think the higher content VG juices replicates the thick feeling of analogs... I usually go with my boba's bounty/gorilla juice from Alien Visions E-Juice (they're both 100% vg)

so i would recommend 5v/6v + higher nicotine + higher vg juice + good atomizer from IKV or Cisco (i don't have experience with cartomizers)
