If I'm correct when you make the coils around the wick, does the amount of coils reflect what ohms it will be? Is there. Different in what type of wick I go with and what AWG wire size I go with? I was gonna pick up everything from discountvapors
There is a lot of factors what guage wire thicker wire will give lower resistance with 4 coils than thinner wire will. Also it depends on how tight you can get your coils together 6 very close wrapped 32 gauge coils can make 1.6ohms and 4 spread apart coils of the same wire can make 3.7 oHm I like Mesh I use 400 but I use 70/30 juice. On the AGA youed do best to use the drill bit method Those Chinese clones dont give you much room to work.

My main concern is trying to get it right. I'll be using it on a lavatube, I'm guess I'm trying to figure out if the lavatube will be able to handle a certain ohm? Without destroying my lavatube. I know may threads are saying to multimeter it before use but I can't find any info on multimeter the atomizer about we're does the pos and neg leads go too. I order the aga, wick,32awg, and some of there 400 mesh. The info is greatly appreciated!

You will be ok the LT has built in short circuit protection. . Your going to have to stick with standard resistances coils with an LT as it will not let you put very much power to Lr stuff. The LT dials your voltage back no matter where you set it. You wont destroy your mod but its not the best for RBA stuff ether. For testing oHms it dose not matter positive or negative your looking for resistance not current flow. you can test at ether end of the coil. But the center is positive and the threads are negative.

You have a good start dont get discouraged if you get frustrated put it down for a day or two then come back It took me a good month of doing that to get anything to work right with any consistency. Then it took a few more weeks before I was able to make coils and wicks with with confidence that everything works as intended.
But now that Ive mastered the skill RBAs are great! Good luck and enjoy
