So I posted this in the liquid feed APV section a few days ago but haven't gotten any replies. I though I would try it out here.

So this will be my first venture into using a Kick and I just wanted to make sure I do it right. I've been doing some research and found a couple pages on the long VMOD thread that pertained to using a Kick. It looked like there were a couple ways to do it. I saw pictures where they used copper on the sides of the battery housing where the kick would go. This seems like the easiest way to do it. Is it as simple as putting copper tape so that the kick makes contact with it? Does anything else need to be done?

I also saw where someone mentioned just connecting the spring on the Kick to the ground spring with wire. Is either method better than the other. I really appreciate any help with this as I have never done this before. These two methods seem so easy I wasn't sure if that was correct.

Thanks guys.

I would think the tape would be better seeing as how a wire would seem fiddly to me. I have never used a Vmod so take this with a grain of salt. I have however kicked a Reo Grand and that was as simple as sanding a spot for the kick to ground, though there are those who used it with different setups like a wire and so on.

It seems like the tape is the way to go. I assume I just need to make sure that the ground spring connects with the tape. It feels like it should be more difficult than this, but I guess I shouldn't complain about that.

PS - the Skins suck! Haha, I'm from Dallas. Guess I don't have much room to talk.

My Vmod XL just shipped. I plan on putting a kick in mine as well.

As soon as one is in stock!!!

If I get it and figure out a good way to do it and keep the Larger battery I will let you know. There is a youtube video of someone doing this by making the bottle smaller then running wires to everything.

Doesnt look to difficult but we will see.

You may want to ask in this thread.
