Rick, did you give it a whirl? That would be very cool if it did work like that.

I know muzic... you're prolly shakin' yer head that she STILL hasn't modded a faucet washer.

Yeah, I'm shakin' my head alright. Get it together girl...

Rick, for it to work upside down you need to get a neg to the kick thru the side to power up the kick, like a wire from the spring under the fire button to the neg on the side of the kick. The 510 connector will now have the center pin neg and the threads pos.

Got it. I just don't like the way the pos. end of the Kick looks like it could get out of place easy and create a permanent on condition with the firing pin on the Vmod.

I think the problem with kicking the Vmod is the difference in the chassis from V1-V2. My V1 chassis seemed to fit the kick very well, then it cracked and had to send it in for a replacement. The replacement they sent me was a V2. They opened up the battery channel slightly to make it easier to install/uninstall the batteries. This made it a problem for the kick IMO as now it wasn't a perfect fit and it would have a tendency to lean, and the +pin would go up into the firing channel. So much so that while it was in my pocket, it started to fire when I would kneel down to work on something or sat a certain way. The last time it did it, it continued to fire until I took the cone and sleeve off and had to do a battery pull. This is what led me to mod a faucet washer to go on top of the kick and keep it stable in the channel. I never had any problems with it after that. It was a simple mod that literally cost close to nothing.

I don't know if anything is in the works, but Vapage needs to revisit the design again and make some tweaks to the device for this reason and also address the RDA issue as well. I have since retired my XL after the short it encountered with the Igo-L. I probably won't buy another until they address those issues. I miss it as it was my all day vape, but I am afraid the same things will just occur and would rather put my money towards something that works for my vaping style right now.
