I want to like the vivi nova

I've been very happy with my mini-nova. I started using an eGo-C tank kit, and the nova & twist was my first 'step up' from that. It worked quite well for me right off the bat as long as I kept tipping it regularly as I chain vape. The first time I cleaned it, I removed the fiber 'cup' around the coil and 'fluffed' the wicks by separating the strands with a pin. That made a fairly big improvement in wicking. I no longer had to tip it until I was getting down to the last little bit in the tank. Haven't had a problem with dry hits since and flavour has been good. I've recently picked up a dripping atty while it does have a bit better flavour than the nova, the nova is far from disappointing.

I think people should stop associating "ease of use" with the ViVi Nova, and instead replace it with "Rebuildable". Everything about this screams rebuilding. Which, to me, seems utterly ridiculous, but oh well. It is not easy to use, and if it needs rewicking and recoiling before it can be enjoyed, it belongs in the Rebuildable category.

You make the rebuildable category sound like "The Isle of Misfit Atomizers".

The beauty of it is that it is a rebuildable that is easy to use. Some kanthal, some wick of your choice, and something to wrap a coil around, is all you need. Because of the highly subjective nature of ecigs, very few things are great right out if the box. Even if one device, or even one ViVi head, is great from the first hit, there is no promise that the next device or other 2 ViVi heads will be the same. Rebuilding takes most of the variables out so that each rebuild is repeatable, and the Vivi Nova is very easy to repeat. Then again, some people just plain don't care for the clearo style vape.

Here's a great chart when referencing the ohm of the atomizer head you're using and the volts your supplying it with your battery, and the resulting wattage. Most people find their sweet spot in the 5-6 watt area. Vape above that and it might taste burnt. Vape below and it can be a little weak and/or muted. The only thing absolute in this chart are the resulting numbers. Everything else about the chart is subjective as everyones taste buds are different. What I think is a great throat hit may make someone else cough their lungs out and what I think tastes a little burnt may be exactly the flavor someone else is looking for.
