I have never seen this message on ECF. I am using Firefox on Linux. There are 4 trackers/scripts on this page, Facebook Connect, Google +1, Google Adsense, and Google Analytics, I have been blocking them since I started on ECF. Perhaps try Ghostery to block them? There are versions for all major browsers. You can allow or block them one at a time, to see which one might be causing the problem.

i don't think that's what's causing the pop-up message - i blocked the buttons and analytics and still get it .....
