myself i am a analog user and smoke 2 packs a day as of right now but have my first setup is coming as i type this. i myself will be using disposable kit while i get my self built mod done with high mg juice. i don't know what it will be like going from the analog to a e-cig yet but when my stuff comes in i know i will have a hard time because i will not buy another analog. i have a friend who i talked to and he has gone half analog and half e-cig and cut down on analog and told me it is hard for him to stop analog all together. i will not buy another analog because my health is getting to the bad side with not being able to breath to good and my bp is starting to go up. i know my heath will get better and will keep all here updated on how it is going. plus i will start doing vids on how it is going for me from day one on the e-cig

Since nicotine is what really keeps you with analogs, i highly suggest you to try some high or extra high nicotine eliquids (18-24mg). Taste is something really objective. You should visit a nice electronic cigarette store and try as much eliquids as you can. I am pretty sure you will find the one you like!

Good luck!

Hllo there I was reading your post and could relate in some way..but ultimatly I had to make the decision that I wanted to quit and seta plan in motion..I am still smoking 7 or 8 cigs a day after almost a month vaping and I plan on being done by next week..was a realistic goal for me but forthe most part I had to make the decision and then ask alot of questions and follow the yellow brick road.(listening to those who have been vaping for some time..that qiuit the analogs themselves.....please be well and the best of luck to you....

Hi. I want to quit smoking analogs. I'm 26 yo now, and ive started smoking when i was 6, since 9 it was more than one pack per day :( Im very addicted, when im not smoking for couple hours I feel physical pain, and e-cigarette sounds like a good way to quit smoking for me. But... ive already tried e-cigarette once, some lady who was selling them on the street offered couple puffs for free, and it didnt have any effect on me. Ive made more than dozen very deep puffs, until I've got headache, but still my physical need for cigarette was unsatisfied. Before when i was trying to quit smoking, Ive used snuff and other tobacco products and nicotine chewing gums, also with no luck - they didnt have any effect when I was starting feeling bad.
I think that maybe im not addicted to nicotine, but to tar, or other chemicals in cigarettes. What do You think? Does real e-cigarette (not cheap, disposable one, which this woman offered me to try) gives me any chance of quiting smoking? Are there any e-liquids available with real, breath-taking taste of strong cigarettes?
This post may sound like provocation, but it isn't.

Hello there, I think it is pretty easy to stop smoking with e-cigs, I smoked 2 packs a day for 44 years and stopped smoking the first hour I started vaping. You need to get a tobacco flavor that has a strong hit the first time out and this will do the trick.

I would recommend Vermilion's Kentucky premium blend at 25mg. this should do the trick...good luck

Hi dinth.

I agree with Frankster. I know from experience that your British cigarettes pack quite a punch. Since tobacco is very much a matter of national taste, I'd look for a U.K.-made high-nicotine e-juice with a reputation for strong taste. A lot of long term smokers develop a real liking for the various non-tobacco flavours of e-juice available, but I'd leave that for later.

I smoked between one and two packs a day for about 35 years and tried about every form of nicotine replacement product available without much success. Since I started vaping I've neither had nor craved a cigarette.

You can actually enjoy this. Best of luck!

im not a huge fan of nicorette. im sure its helped others, but for me when i tried it several times in an attempt to quit, the slow absorption of the nicotine through your gums compared to the quick hit you get from a cigarette is different enough that you start wanting to smoke a real cigarette while you are chewing the gum. for vaping, i take a couple of vapes when im craving and i hit that point where my craving magically disappears

Hermm, couple of corrections here. You ARE addicted to Nic. You are also addicted to several OTHER chemicals in analogs as well as the psyhocological "hand to mouth" motion. After all if we where ONLY addited to nic, patches and other delivery methods for nicotine would work just as well as the PV.

Analogs have a bit LESS than 4000 chemicals in them. 84ish of which are known carcinogens! Isn't it amazing what we do in the name of addiction? Some of those chemicals act as anti-depressants. One of the reasons for the addiction I would think.

ON a side note. DRINK WATER and LOTS of it. Vapeing DOES deydrate! The biggest (IMO) mistake new vapors make is they dont' drink enough fluids! The second biggest mistake made is beating yourself up as you move away from the ananlogs. If you have an analog or two as your moving away from them, don't BEAT YOURSELF UP!

Good luck, welcome the ECF and enjoy your journey!
