My question is where can I find the best starter kit for doing my own ejuice and the best way of calculating it or app calculator. Thanks
I would not buy a kit.

I would get blunt needles, a gallon of VG. A quart if PG or more

I get USP GRADE at Amazon because I have prime.

get some bottkes

Then get a good nicotine. Some nic's are peppery and get your flavors from the Perfumers apprentice, Flavor art, high desert Vapes.

This way you have quality ingredients instead of mediocre or worse.

You'll feel insecure your first few batches then it's all down hill. Get a vape calculator. If you buy right you can make unflavored liquid for 1 penny per ml. Then it's what do you want to spend on flavoring. I make simple one flavor liquids at under 2%. One flavor I often mix is a pre mix I buy online and cut 4 times. That means take 30 ml of the premix and make a batch of unflavored with the same percent of nic and the same balance of PG and VG and mix 3 parts to one part. Your pallet will adjust to the more muted flavor. The pre mix companies tend to use too much flavoring.

My blogs will give insight into all aspects of DYI, from steeping to what supplies to have on hand to a basic walk through mixing your first E-juice.

Then read hoosier's blogs. These blogs concentrate on fine tuning your mix and give insight on additives.

Then read Boletus's blog's. These blogs concentrate on formulation of nicotine bases regarding proper calculations methods for figuring Nicotine concentration as well as safety.

Then read Ginger's book "E-Cigarettes 102: DIY E-Liquid". It is a book which I've contributed to that delivers an in depth easy to follow guide in the art of DYI.

I recommend viewing VPLive Vape Team Episode #82: DIY Safety and bookmark it for future reference. It explains safety in all aspects of DYI.

Absolutely! I recommend new to DIY start with 3-5 ml bottles. If something is unvapeable throwing out 3 ml is less cost prohibitive than throwing out 30+ ml. When you create a fantastic vape do your happy dance then expand to 30, 50, 120 ml batch.

I second Herbs suggestion on Bull city, they rock and deliver fast. Only downside is they don't sell nicotine. I get my nic from My Freedom Smokes. Watch out, everyone thinks the brand of Nic they use is the best, and some are better than others. Just go to one of the nic comparison threads, it's like a war zone in there! lol

MFS has good nic. I can't offer a comparison because it's all I've ever used. (If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it. Right?) They run a sale on 1 liter bottles of 100 mg/ml for $40 every couple of months. That's a 2 year supply for me and I vape 20ish ml/day at 3 mg/ml. Sign up for their emails and they will let you know when it's on sale. Third for BCV for flavors. Great selection, great prices. Don't worry about a kit. I mix up a couple hundred milliliters about every 2 weeks and my whole set up consists of:

2 - 10 ml graduated cylinders
1 - 50 ml cylinder
2 - 3 ml syringes
2 - 100 ml tri-pour beakers.

If you go to MFS and look at their starter kit, you can select what you want in it and weed out all the crap you don't need and get a small discount. If you have several glass bottles left from juice you bought, just wash with dish soap and reuse. Plastic bottles can hold on to flavors that were in them and bleed into your new juice, so avoid them if you can. When nail down a couple of recipes and want to start making them in bigger batches, you might think about some large beakers with stoppers. But start small. 10 ml batches (or less) are good for testing new mixes.
