I'm not sure, I guess just stepping up to the 1000 MAH range. I just want to stop constantly shuffling bats on and off a charger.
Everyone vapes at different rates so it's hard to judge. I think I'm a heavy vaper and for me, a 1300mAH battery lasts me more than a day, but I go thru more than one 650 mAH batteries. So I think you're guess is probably good - somewhere between 1000mAH and 1300mAH.

. . .Any standard 808/901 equipment will work on either the Echo or vGo models. The difference between the two is mainly aesthetics. In my opinion, standard 808 cartos and clearos look better on a vGo with a cone but they will perform just as well on an Echo.
+ 1 on this.
-- The Echo battery has a wider diameter than a standard 808 battery. If you put a standard 808 size carto on it, the diameter jump between the battery and carto makes it look like two things glued together (IMO, anyway). The Echo-specific cartos are tapered, with the mouth-end having the same diameter as a standard carto, and the battery end matching the diameter of the battery. So an Echo battery with an Echo carto looks great. I believe this also applies to the the V4L OMG. The Echo is also an automatic battery, so if you want automatic, this might be the best choice.
-- The IGO/vGo variant batteries are also a larger diameter, but they have a second set of threads below the carto threads. These are for attaching a 'cone' which tapers from the battery diameter down to a diameter slightly larger than a standard carto. The cone is basically a 'cosmetic' and makes the battery-cone-carto look like one piece. So if you want to use your existing 'standard' cartos and have the convenience of a big battery and want it to look good, this is might be a good option for you. I believe these are all manual batteries. FYI, this is the route that I went because I like the combination of carto and e-liquid that I use and the echo-type cartos just didn't do it for me. Also, I tend to kill automatic batteries because I don't fill cartos carefully enough :)
-- BTW, you might find that the cones are listed with EGO batteries on vendors' web sites. The one's I bought were a little too narrow at the carto end and I had to widen them just a little bit.
-- BTW #2: If you're uncertain about compatibility, just contact the vendor and ask :). Many are very good at replying pretty quickly. If they don't, that tells you something too.

Which is better, the Echo or the Go-Go? Or is the Go-Go just another vGo style battery?
The Go-Go has an entirely proprietary thread that isn't compatible with anything else on the market. There were rumors of a GoGo to 808 adapter, but I've never seen one. It's a nice product though - holds a ton of e-juice and the 1300mAH lasts all day (for me, anyway). The draw is a bit 'airy', which I liked, but others might not. I had problems with the center contact getting shoved down with just normal use though. Hopefully that's been addressed since it renders the battery inoperable.
There was a really lengthy thread on the Go-Go started by GreyRat.

Yeah, I came across the Go-Go thread but haven't read through it yet. It's a shame about it being proprietary, especially if there are no adapters for it.

I've been locked in to a vendor in the past, so I'm not going to get into that again. I'll stick with my 808's and 901 tanks, and maybe an 801. ;)

I think there's more than one vendor for the Go-Go, at least there was a year ago, so you wouldn't be totally locked in. But I agree: it's better to stay with a standard versus proprietary. Lots more choices as evidenced by the number of suggestions in this thread. Also, the vendors/factories would tend to make advances more quickly due to competition.
Well, OK, in theory advances would be made more quickly :).
Just kidding - I think the number of advances made in the last year is pretty impressive.

I haven't used either, but if you're going to go with a V4L kit the Gripper or the OMG VV would be better if you can afford it. V4L is pretty over-priced in my opinion, but they're also one of the few vendors offering VV and Mods for 808s.

That is a great deal on the I-Turbo, but I haven't been impressed by the CE4. For $14.00 more than the I-Turbo kit you could get 2 Revolver kits from Nhaler and have VV.

Tough call. :D

i ended up buying the i-Turbo kit. it should be here Saturday. A few weeks ago, i ordered a few i-Turbo clearo's and liked them. so i just pulled the trigger on the whole kit. :headbang:

Good call. I decided to grab the Echo myself a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier. I prefer the cartomizers over the clearos, but I use both.

There's 2 huge threads on the Echo over in the eGo forum. Lots of good info over there.

I'll use the Echo's until they start to die, then I'm gonna try a VV battery. Maybe the Nhaler Revolver or the V4L OMG. I also want to try a atomizer. I've used cartomizers and clearomizers but never a atomizer.

The only thing I would even look at from V4L is the VV mods. For the price they're asking for the standard OMG mod you could buy a 905 Screwdriver and some clearomizers. At least the 905 has an on/off feature and that thing is 3 years old.

Keep in mind that VV (dial-a-volt) for $50 at VFL is the same thing sold at Nhaler as the echo revolver for $30.

After much reading and deliberating I've decided to go with the Smokeless Image volt spinner and gogo for my big battery step up. I almost went echo but a windy day playing disc golf made me go manual(the wind kept turning my battery on if it wasn't tucked away somewhere). The volt spinner got here Monday along with a t3, x2, and five nano clearos. I really like the spinner and don't mind the manual button at all.

Now the clearos, two were great and the third was horrible. Love the T3. Holds 3ml and is easy to fill. Draw is airy but I don't mind. No leaks through one tank. The nanos also no issues. I got them to help me get through fluid samplers faster. No leak issues. Pocket friendly which is nice(my m3 clearos are not). Haven't refilled or cleaned one yet though. Flavor isn't as good on the standard 808 as the m3, but not horrible just a little muted. When on the spinner I can just turn it up a bit and get better flavor. The x2 clearo though leaked from the first fill. I followed the instructions to a t and still leak city. Half the thing emptied itself. I won't try another, and am slightly worried that the gogo tanks will be leaky now since they look similar.

My gogo stuff will get here later this week and I can't wait. I'll report on them as well. I ordered the kit and three gogo tanks from cigeasy along with a gogo fury(their spinner) since it was on sale for 25$.

Sounds like a good choice!

As far as the Echo and wind, I've yet to have the wind activate my batteries and I work outside 8 hours every day. Just figured I'd throw that out there in case anyone else is concerned about the Echo outdoors.

I gave up on clearos for the reasons you mentioned on the X2. Be careful when refilling those Nanos. The best I managed to get was 7 refills, which is about 3 days for me.

That's a great idea! I'll be ordering that today.

I got the big Alice in Vapeland sampler and have had a hard time getting through it using three m3 clearos on rotation. That'll be much faster.

I heard great things about echo switches not firing due to wind/bass but I was on the fence as far as which way to go and that one bad day with my cigeasy 808 auto was enough for me to go manual. Lucky for me it doesn't bother me.

One of the biggest joys of the 808 manual is direct dripping. I could never do it all day long like some people, but I love the 901-T.

Don't forget with your Go-Go you can grab a 510 adapter and open up some more options for it. Though I'm told the Go-Go cartos are awesome. Cropduster901 and Discount Vapors have them.

The Echo is a great PV, but you have to really love automatics. The lack of good hardware for it is it's biggest downfall, just like the Go-Go.
