Hi there people :)
I have been vaping for about 8 months now, after 30 years of smoking, and I love it.
Started with evod, then moved to subtank mini, on aspire cf sub. Upgraded to a kanger kbox, and it just gets better.
Winding my own coils now, and I think it is the tinkering that is keeping me off the cigs.
Looking to try rda vaping, but which are the best?

Hi, and welcome to the board. I'm not really a dripper kind of guy, but I'm about to give it a whirl. On advice from the board, I ordered a Dark Horse and a Plume Veil clone. We'll just see how well I get on ;-) Another option you might consider is a Lemo 2 RTA. It breathes about as well as any dripper, and can be closed down if you like less air.

Welcome Orbit.Al, Your story is very close to mine. I, now, use RTAs for out and about and even during the day around the house. They have a tank, just convenient. I have a couple of RDAs that I use in the evening for when I am sitting still. RDAs are not as fully enclosed as an RTA, so I tend to sit still and keep it fairly upright. They are getting better.

I use a Magma 1:1 clone of a Magma. Good reputation for flavor. I am sure you can find YouTube videos for it.

They are easier to clean, just remove the wick and rinse at the end of the evening and it air dries over night. Put another wick in and and 10-14 drips on the wick and in the well to start.

Like I said, many others out there and everyone has their preference. But, it is known for flavor if that is your calling.

Good luck!

Plume Veil or Tugboat for flavor. Dark Horse or CLT for clouds and air flow. Basically, look at the size of the air holes when you are shopping. The smaller the holes, the more flavor. The bigger the holes, the more vapor. Your build has a lot to do with it as well, but for the most part air = clouds, but less flavor. Also, as a beginner, look for something with a t-post positive connection. They are easier to align the coils on than the 3 post type. Be sure to read up on safety and coil building. Baditude has some awesome blogs that will teach you everything you need to know.

Exactly what I intend, subtank for out and about, but dripper for chilling time. I like the idea of easy flavour change. I will have a look at the Magma, thanks.

Thanks, that's another vote for the Tugboat.
