I want to try V4L cartos ...

but I don't have V4L hardware. I'll have my mod-of-choice eventually, but right now I use 510 batteries. Is there an adapter available to use V4L cartos with 510 batteries?

Absolutely. They are available from many vendors, I got mine at Altsmoke, so I know that one works. What you are looking for is 510 battery to 901/808/Cartomizer adaptors (different vendors call them different things). Note though, that unless it says it's compatible with cartomizers, double check with the vendor that it will work. Some adaptors provide 901 threads, but not an air channel to provide airflow into the cartomizer.

An adapter is a great way to get started with cartomizers, and will be INCREDIBLY useful should you choose to try a battery mod down the road.

ALTSMOKE makes the one that I use, and barring one issue with premium 555 cartomizers (which should be fixed soon) they work absolutely wonderfully.

Is that issue specific to the 555 premiums? Or premiums in general? Or a single 555 premium?

555 isn't a flavor that I want to order ... so if it's a 1-off issue, it shouldn't affect me.

I looked on Altsmoke for you..but I think they are out of the adapters. Lite cig has them though..they do look a bit different. I am sure you will find your adapter. Most of the people that sell KR808's have them.

KR808D-1 ask in here for help finding an adapter.
