You are losing product with every use. If you are going to be in it long term, I would get into measuring by weight as quickly as possible.

And no, I'm not sending you my extra scale.

Before my first DIY orders I wish I had:
The Nicotine Comparison's Thread in existance
The numbers of easily accessible flavoring vendors that exist today
The better quality of nicotine solutions that currently exist
Set up a file on my computer for mixing notes
The various threads that aggregate other's experiences with flavorings from X
Started sooner

I brother p-touch label syringes for NIC, PG, VG. so I always use the same one for each. I use a cafeteria tray as my station on the table so in case of a spill it wont go everywhere.
more of these sytrofoam thingies to hold my juices. I line up each flavor in the front row of a mix with a pipet right behind the flavor so I use the same pipet for each flavor. no cross contamination.

as an easy test...can I just do 10ml of my 50/50 nic juice and add 1.25ml flavoring and start from there? ( approx. 12% )
Really never had any success yet? I know my 18mg nice base will go down some with the addition of the flavor but I am ok with that.

And steeping takes a min of how long?

Actually that is 11.1%. For 12% you'd use 8.8ml of base and 1.2ml of flavoring.

5 seconds is the minimum or the amount of time to shake and drip, whichever is less.

I wish I had never smelled the horrors that lie within a bottle of Flavor West's Honey Wood Tobacco flavor concentrate. I imagine that's what Honey Boo-Boo's mom's skin fold cheese smells like.

Smelled so poisonous, i double bagged it and put it in tupperware away from the rest, out of shear fear.

I wish I had never bought any plastic bottles. You will get free ones when you order juice and flavors. Everything I have is in glass now with poly seal cone caps. I would not buy large bottles of any flavors until you have tried it. Buy when it is on sale. Save your money and make large orders when you can get free shipping. Multiple small orders with S&H can really add up quick and that's money that could go to more DIY stuff. Flavor brands(?), are just a trial and error...I have a couple Lorann flavors that I always hear people trash talk that I wouldn't be without....Blackberry and Pina Colada and I have pitched said TFA/FA flavors.....go figure. Pg was a waste for me as I became slightly sensitive to it in the 3rd or 4th month. My daughter got most of the 500ml of 100mg nic that I thought I needed in the beginning until I decided to wean myself off it.
You will inevitably waste some money, it's part of the DIY process. On the other hand you will save far more than you ever wasted.

FYI. Two months from now is a great day to DIY shop, Thanksgiving. Good luck and welcome to DIY!
