Holy jumpin jupiters balls I WON a Provari!!!!! A local B&M that just opened up out here in Clawson, MI ran a contest on FB to help Name the Store and winner recieves a brand new silver Provari V 2.5 and I won!!!!!! I'm going to pick it up right now!!! I have never owned a provari before I have only used Ego Twists so this opens a whole new door for me in the vaping world. I need some suggestions as to what are some of the best batteries and chargers to get for the Provari? Any other tips on accessories, maintainence etc would be appreciated. I'm so excited!

Well, dancing bananas, I would be happy also. Provape recommends AW batteries, as for chargers I have read many good things about the Nitecore and Xtar chargers. Any device that use 510 threading should work fine, since you have the Twist you should have some devices already, and have some experience with VV. It must be nice being you at the moment, congrats.

Congrats, as already said any 510 threaded device will work with it unless it has a threaded skirt like the Kanger Evod and T3 then you just need a 510/Ego Adapter.

As for batteries AW is what I use and what Provape recommends but any IMR should work as long as it's button top. Charger....Xtar is probably the most recommended at a good price point, the WP2 II can be found for around 20 bucks.

Maintainence...not alot to do, just keep the threads, spring and connector clean. Some people use Nolox on the threads, it does make them smoother and a small tube will last about 3 or 4 lifetimes.

Congrats man! Well done

If you are a carto/tank guy please got with Phiniac or IBTanked. Both glass and work flawlessly.

If you are a CE style, EVOD and protank both by kanger are good. Both are bottom coils and work pretty good

As for the provari, make sure to keep the 510 connection clean and the center post inside the device where the battery goes. Other than that its one of the best devices you can own IMO.

As was mentioned, anything with a 510 connection will work.

As for chargers, I have and absolutely love the Nitecore Intellicharger. It charges anything. I use it to charge the batteries for my Provari mini (18350 and 18490), my VAMO (18650) and my BAM (26500 and 26650). I also use it to charge the batteries for my Xbox controller. Highly recommended. I use it every single day.

Congrats! You're going to love it.

I use AW IMR batteries, I got the extension cap and use 18650's. I have a Pila charger, which is pricey but it's amazing. Lighthound.com has the AW batts and Pila charger for a bit less than Provape.

Like others said, keep the 510 connector clean, I often get liquid in there which can cause the PV to show an error code, and also blocks the airhole on a lot of devices. Take care not to cross thread the battery cover. That's about it, they're pretty maintenance free.

Thanks for congrats and tips everyone! Yeah i just got home with it and I'm totally stoked right now! I got an 18490 for now and bought an xtar charger both of which are available at the store. So here's what happened, they were originally called the Vaporium but someone ended up already having that name registered and threatened a lawsuit if they didn't change so they put the contest up. A family member who doesn't vape came up with the name VaporCraft which they need up going with because for one that's a really cool name Imo plus it being family and all... But they still honored their promise to award a FB follower with a winning name idea the Provari. So, they pretty sent me a msg saying that I was the runner up and to cmon down and pick up my new pv! The one of many names I submitted that they liked was "TheOhmZone". I'll post picks momentarily ;-)
