I don't like Walmart, either.

Fat people wandering around the store in their pajamas and slippers ain't for me.

I'm not fat but I do try to wear my PJ pants whenever possible.
I have definitely been known to walk around walmart and other stores with my PJ pants on.
Nice thick cotton flannel PJ pants and a white T shirt, nothing wrong with that.
Even so, I do laugh at the 'weirdos' wearing their whimsical rubber duckie PJ pants. Neanderthals.

How about like butchers twine? I have not looked into it but it is made for food and not apparel. It would not have nylon in it or that would melt on your rack of lamb?

That's what I've been using to rebuild my Protanks and it's working well. I found a giant roll in the pantry one day that I forgot we even had...like...a lifetime supply of wicks! I remove two strands to reduce the diameter a little and use them as flavor wicks.

If push comes to shove those PJ pants could be a couple years worth of wicks.

Nothing ventured... Yadda yadda.

Don't see why cotton - yarn or twine - wouldn't work well in any wicked device. No matter where you get it!

I've used yarn in Evods, Protanks, T3, CEx. Of course, you can't dry burn it, but other than that it's fine. Unlike silica, it will expand a bit when wet. So maybe it's even a bit more "forgiving" on sizing.
