Last night I came inside off the balcony, had a moment of weakness and had a smoke with the wife. The cat, he is bad, he had knocked a toothpick onto the floor, I did not see it and somehow managed to stick it IN my foot, right below my big toe. 1 and 1/2 INCHES in. She had to get it out for me, tugged and it would not budge so...yanked and it came out. OMG my foot hurts, lol. I upped my Nic level.

LOL I need a 'funny' button for akingsley. Anyways, there is a small portion I am pretty sure is still in there bu tit feels pretty ok today and it is not even warm to the touch. I was making us canadian bacon and eggs and that same damn cat (he is a Maine .......they are...weird, lol) insists on being underfoot at all times so I had moved weird to push him away and I think I felt it :| It didn't hurt...just felt weird. Honest...I cannot remember the last time I had a tetanus shot but I am not going to get one. It looks ok, doesn't feel too bad today. I will just stick (pardon the pun) with epsom salt soaks for now. It was bad yesterday but the upped nic level helped, lol.

The Maine .... Cat's are the Great Dane's of the cat world..I want one! They say the are the sweetest cats ever..you got a weird sweet one! LOL
I hope the toe heals, it sounds painful. If the sore place forms a bump, you will know you have a piece still in there. It may work out or it may form a calcium deposit and cause problems. A Doctor is your best bet. Chef's need their feet!
I stuck an oyster knife through my hand when I worked in a Seafood restaurant. They made me pack it with a tar like something to work all the shell out! My 6 foot six, 400 pound boss almost fainted..I had to get a little 4 foot 10 Oriental waitress to do it for me!:)

Hey RK wanted to check back in and see how you were doing... I love Maine coons .. .. What color typ and eye type... always wanted a green eye cat... .. RK I hope there isn't a piece left in there (( )).. I was always getting cut, snagged on something, steping on something as a kid I'm pretty sure I am covered for life for that being the only shot my Parents made sure I was current on before the next accident might happen...

Well, I am sure there is something left in there but it is DEEP and hey, it is a toothpick point so if it goes anywhere it will go out or absorb! Anyways, I was able to walk almost normal today. Had to run out for blue hair dye and stuff for corn fritters, what a combo, eh?
I still think this should hurt more, lol. Oh, and Mary, we watched a show then went to bed, I love netfilx watch-it-now!!

Here. Max and I decided to re-create the 'giant cat pic' for Ya'll :D

WOW! Imagine that drapped around your neck on a cold winter's night! AUGGGH! My husband and I cannot sleep together, we've each got two cats, plus I have the dog to share the couch with....that cat is three times bigger than Sadie! She would be a nervous wreck. (She's not allowed to bite the cats. Have to keep telling her, don't ask for trouble!) Max, what a great name for him. He looks rather proud!

RK, hope your foot is ok...
MK, you got up and running!!! Yay!

He got his name from 'Where the Wild Things Are', lol. And he is not done growing :| My foot is fine, I am kind of disturbed by that fact. I really think if you have a TOOTHPICK shoved and inch and a half in your foot that it would bother you more...either way, I am not complaining! Unfortunately, Max is still all kitten (this breed does not mature until they are 3-5 yrs and he will be 3 in late spring...) so he is BAD BAD BAD and does not get to sleep with us but he gets the bathroom (it's a good sized one!). He does not like us to sleep, see...this is Max Max I know the guy who does these has a kat JUST like our boy kat...
