As good as Ikenvape has been about designing attys-801 stealth, cannon, i06 why not design and make an i06 with the sleeve buit onto it? I mean the cannon is basically an 801 mini with a 510 connector, right? So anyone intersted in an i06 with built on sleeve? It would stop all the complaints of the atty sleeve getting stuck in the drip tips (and you could use any 510 or 901 drip tip). I have had this happen a few times even as careful as I am with them. By the way the i06 is about all I use anymore.

Good idea, but I doubt if many people would be willing to pay the extra cost of a sleeve built onto every atty that would be tossed with every atty they finish with.

But thinking about this, cartos come with s/s covers and they are cost effective, so maybe it would be possible. I don't know.

Well the 510 and 901 attys have sleeves built on and the 801 has a giant sleeve but these dont cost anymore because of the sleeve. They have a similar bridge even though the i06 performs so much better. I also tried the carto and it is slightly larger diameter than the i06 and slips up and down to easy, would leak to much. I would just like to be able to use a drip tip without the worry of pulling the atty apart. Just dreaming but it would still be nice.

I have seen a youtube video where you can make a 901 atty into a sleeve. I can't remember if it was for a io6 or just a 306 but I am pretty sure it is an i06. I can't figure out why a sleeve costs $13 when every carto comes with one and the whole carto doesn't cost that much. Ikenvape use to sell some i06 sleeves that wee much nicer than the plain i06 sleeves and I would not mind paying more for those but the grateful vaper sleeves are just ridiculous IMO. A built in sleeve or a less expensive sleeve is a great idea!!

What is really crazy is I don't believe Ikenvape even sells any i06 sleeves. I really wish they did and the io6 drip tips they do sell don't even fit properly. They do not slide but half way down the atty. Maybe a little more but I really would like an alternative. i know they have plain black delrins that fit but I like something a little more unique.

Look in the Siam tips when he returns. There is a sleeve there. The I06 is tapered so the sleeve has to be tapered to fit it. Drip tips aren't tapered so in order to use one you need a sleeve or one of the tips made for the I06 that is tapered.

Well how about that.

5card continues to teach us old people new things every day!

I really didn't know those things!

It is a matter of production volume combined with the taper.

The Siam sleeve is nicely crafted, though at least mine was difficult to get seated, the second oring took real pressure. That said, it is a sweet sleeve for use on a bottom feeder with good catch cup.

The gv sleeve shines if you have a pv where you need a drip shield. It is slim enough for a ds to fit over it. The GV sleeve, while slimmer than the Siam, is very robust, will last a long time (like the Siam).

I've picked up a handful of gv, mainly io6, to use across the board with io6 on feeder pv. I would not have done follow-on buys if I didn't think they provided good value.

For my top feed vvpv, the gv sleeve can also be punched cleanly, allows you to skip using a vvpv dt adapter. While not a make or break point, it is a plus. Ideally, a vvpv specific one would maybe be slightly longer (simpler to pop the hole in, while still using a ds), but that is down in the noise.
