Hi guys, still not getting iAtty right. Just flooding all the time with 50/50 juice, even when the bell is screwed all the way down. Gurgle, gurgle, gurgle. If I turn it upside down, the juice just comes out of the bell tube. There's loads in there after a few minutes. Driving me mad now. What do most people use, with regard to wick size? What was the stock setup? Single wick, double, single with another short wick on top, what? Please help me :) I really want to get this atty right as I love the vape when it's vaping well, but it's just too temperamental and I'm losing patience :(

They can be temperamental. I put 3 small orings (like the ones that go on Ody's center pin) in the metal piece that the top plastic gets screwed into. There is no seal there and these 3 orings create a seal. They are a tight fit, so get one started then screw the plastic piece on to push the oring down to the bottom. Do this with 3 orings and odds are very good that you won't have flooding anymore. :)

Oh, OK - I'l give that a go RiverNut. Thanks mate. You think the flooding might be getting caused from the stem itself? I'd assumed it was more of an overwicking issue, but I haven't been able to work out if a thicker or thinner wick sorts that out  Maybe it's not the issue at all...

Thanks Bishop, I'll have a look for that too.

refill until the middle of the straight part of the cone and report again Mozzi

OK, thanks Imeo. Earlier I emptied the tank and vaped until it felt like it was drying out, then filled it up just to around the top of the cone. Vaped for a few minutes and it was fine, then it started gurgling and flooding. This was with 1.5mm down through the slots and 3.5mm shortie on top. What wick would you recommend for a 50/50 juice Imeo? If anyone can help me here, I guess it must be you ;)

I would use a 2,5mm wick doubled only on the resistance wire Mozzi. Also Manos is a great Iatty user and he can help you for sure. But refilling until the middle of the straight part of the cone is a great trick because you will not depend on the width of the wick like this
