Been using the iatty2 for a long time and I think the only answer is the juice I am using, but was hoping there might be a creative solution. I vape all day long and all night long at 3.7v at about 1.5 to 2.0 ohm's resistance with the original wick (iatty1) and the wick which came with the iatty2. After about 16 hours its burnt and of course I make a new one and vape away. Can you think of any way or wick that will stand up to my abuse :vapor:

There seems to be a fine line between wrapping your coil too tightly or too loosely around the wick. I knoiw I had issues burning wick until I stopped wrapping the wire around the wick in a death grip.

That said, if you get contact whihc is needed, you will burn some wick. As the juice cruds the coil, the wider the surface area into the fiber of the wick. As often as you are rebuilding, it would hurt to try wrapping ever so lsitly less tight around the wick. You will quickly know if it is too loose by the dry taste (some call it popcorn taste).

Just my 2 cents and what cured the excess wick burning for me. :)

Is this just true for burning your wick or buildup of crunchy crudjuice around the wick?

And gredie, thanks - that makes good sense, too.
