I'm on my lunch right now watching Bishop's dual coil video that I think I might try when I get home!

Another thing Bishop (or anyone else) is man.. do your wicks fray when you screw the housing into the base? That was my only gripe with the thicker wick is it just wouldn't fit into the Ody channels, even with twisting and pushing down pretty hard... there was always some fraying. Although it didn't seem to affect the wicking a whole lot I don't think, but I could feel it in the flow control when I would screw it up and down.

I'm gonna go back to the thicker wick, though.. I think I had much better builds with it!
Can't wait to try this dual coil now!

subver. 2 things you need to do. First make sure your connections are small and if possible inside the ceramic and not in the channels. 2nd I always cut 1 strand from the 3mm wick part that goes in the channel. It makes it 2.5mm which is thin enough to fit and makes better wicking because it does not over blocks the channel. Remember few drops going up the channel by suction is always faster than waiting for the wick to wick, especially with thick juices.

If you see more of my videos I keep revising my dual coils. I cut the ends off the two coils and leave one wick in middle that travels on both channels. That fixes the issue you mentioned. earlier of fraying it.

I always keep revising my coils because I keep thinking of experiments and better ways to make them.

Ok - is that video I linked to not the latest dual coil? And yeah I was gonna ask you if you clipped the wick so there's one wick in the channels - nice. And I have 3mm wick at home.. in the video you mentioned taking one or two strands out of the 3mm, but also 2 strands out of the 3.5mm. I'm vaping Boba's, so I'll try first with just taking 1 strand out I think
I'm getting antsy to get home and try this now!

P.S. "I cut the ends off the two coils and leave one wick in middle that travels on both channels." - not sure what you mean by cutting the ends of the coils.. is that cutting the one wick to the size of the coils?

Your videos are awesome man! You're a huge help.

Ok what I meant was when you wrap the coil on your silica after its wrapped then cut the excess wick so you can form a bow tie. keep watching my videos these are things you have to learn gradually its not going to be learned over night. to get to do my other set of coils will require of you mastering these.
