IB Tanked customer service

So, I get notified by email last night that IB Tanked has those $25 complete tank kits in stock that Baditude recommends and I order 3. But wait! It says something about needing to order caps as well there on the site. $17.50 each. I order 3. My First tank Set Up, what the heck.

This morning I get a call from Harry of IB Tanked. He just wanted to be sure I knew what I was doing. I didn't. They come with caps. He refunded my money, gave me tips on setting them up and filling, said they were shipping today, and invited me to call back with any questions.

Good grief. Maybe it's just in my little corner of the world, but I don't often run into that kind of honesty and service.

One of the reasons that I recommend IBTanked is because of their customer service. Not only do they provide a very high quality product at a very reasonable cost, they truly wish to provide their customers with outstanding service. Should you run into a problem with your purchase, they will go out of their way to provide a reasonable solution.

I'm not sure how many of you have read the review that I did of these tanks and the company. This is a family run operation, a true Mom & Pop type business that you just like to support. They have experienced some growing pains as they have become more and more popular, but have done a great job of responding to increased demand and are always looking for new ways to broaden their product line and service.

Currently, I have seven IBTanked's and should I ever need another cartotank I likely will order from them again.

They are the only manufacturer of pyrex tanks other than Phiniac (and that is just recently with the addition of the Skinny Phinny's) that have offered two diameters of tanks (19mm & 25mm) to choose from, and soon will be offering a third diameter (22mm).

You can read the review that I did of the IBTanks in the following link. I also have a very detailed cartotank setup guide (with videos) and an ever growing list of vendors that sell pre-punched cartomizers.

I received my very first tank, today. It's an IBTanked tank. It's working better than I had expected it to. I only had the raves about tanks to base my purchase decision and I am not disappointed with particular tank.

Setting it up was a breeze. However, I did have to punch a second hole into the cartomizer, as the ones I had came with only one hole. I ordered the cartons from a different vendor, as IBT was out when I ordered the tank. I used the little punch tool that I had purchased from IBT. It was a simple enough task to punch the second hole. Priming the carto was easy, as well.

Thus far it's performing quite well. No dry hits nor gurgling. I am one very pleased IBT customer.

ETA: The flavor and draw are excellent. I thought my clearos were affording good flavor. Now, with this IBT tank, I am experiencing a whole new flavor spectrum using the same juices. They taste much better.

I have to concur with everyone else here who is having good experiences with IBTanked products and customer service. They were recommended to me in a thread I started back in July of last year in search of glass and pyrex carto tanks. I have 2 of their XL 19mm so far, and I'm sure I'll be ordering more in the future.

For anyone who doesn't know, they are a registered supplier here on ECF and you can communicate with them in this thread:

Great people, great product!

I placed my first order with IBtanked and ordered their 19mm glass tank. It came a few days ago and I saw many deep scratches along the inside of the bottom steel cap. Is this normal? I contacted their customer service.
