I just eyeballed my tanks closely. There is a ever so slight bevel. Almost impossible to see looking at it. I really think it is more a difference in turning or polishing. Like a difference in the grain.

For all purposes, it's flat. With an accent :)

Hey Bassnorma, try Fiddling Your Thingy (that's what they call it) to prime your cartos. Put an unprimed carto in the tank, fill the tank, stick it in the container it shipped in (the Thingy), twist the cap on and off until a drop of liquid comes out the air hole. Your carto is now primed. So quick and easy.

The 22 mm caps are offered in both stainless steel and anodized aluminum. The aluminum caps do have a beveling around the outer edge. The stainless steel caps are totally flat across the entire surface.

Hope that clears things up. :)

IBTanked! is now an official ECF supplier and has its own sub-forum now. OCD frequents the site on a daily basis and you can inquire about information there: IBTanked

Well, I will admit to having fiddled with my thingy...wait...NO...you are talking about the film canister looking thingy, aren't you?

MIB...flashy thingy....erase, erase, revert back to before previous statement....whew.

My carto seems to be too long to screw the cap on tight once filled and in the tank. So, I will admit; as sad as it may be, that perhaps I do not actually know how to properly fiddle with my thingy!
