The washer on one of my tanks has pulled loose and I am getting some leaking and a very airy draw. I ordered some new washers that arrived today. Question as to the best way to replace them. Do I just lay the new one on a clean dry cap or do I need to lube it first with some juice? Just want to get a good seal. Not sure why my washer tore up so quick though. This tanks about 4 months old. My orings look fine. I use juice with cinnamon exclusively in this tank. Could that cause the breakdown of the washers?
