Alright sooo. I read Bad's blog and as someone totally new I'm still confused. Anyway, I've decided to go with IBTanks for my new ProVari and I am wondering 1) which cartomizer to use (like 2ohm or 3.2 ohm?) 2) If someone could link me a detailed maintenance video or suggest extra parts I should buy with my tanks in case something should break/wear out, and 3) What size driptips I should buy for them? I'm not a fan of the selection they have on the site and I'm a girl.. so pretty is a MUST, lol! If you have any stores you prefer I'd love links to them!

Thanks guys!!
Everyone on this forum has been so, so very helpful.

Choice of cartomizer resistance is one of personal preference. Lower resistance (lower number) will give slightly warmer vapor, higher resistance (higher number) will give slightly cooler vapor. However a regulated mod can adjust the voltage to whatever resistance coils you use. Provape suggests 3.0 ohm for the Provari.

I recommend one of the tank accessory tools to protect your tank's o-rings and to make the whole tank setup process easier. The best is the Slap Yo Moma tool from Big Daddy Vapor. However, the combination drip-tip/tank-tool which IBTanked sells is less expensive and does the job, too.

Drip tips are also a personal preference. Any should fit in a cartomizer if they are 510 drip tip, which the majority are. I like the ones from RTD Vapor and Drip Tip Designz.

I meant for your extra tanks with other flavors in them, not for the tank already attached to the smoking apparatus.. if that makes any sense? Lol.

Oh sorry! I put condoms on both ends and pop them in a plastic bag. And I use a sharpie to write what flavor is in the carto on the carto so I don't get confused (which is easily done LOL)

IbTanks all come with a "Thingy" which is a little plastic container that they fit perfectly in. That's what I keep mine stored in. They don't fit in there with the drip tip on them, though.

They actually don't seem to leak too badly regardless. I might find a drop of liquid at most inside my thingy after they've been rustling about in my purse all day.

I personally just like to use the protank drip tips. There's cooler stuff out there for sure, but I just got so used to the feel of them after using my protanks for so long.

That's an idea. I'm buying 4 or 5 types of Ejuices and I wanted to make sure I had enough tanks/cartos for each flavor, lol. My problem now lies in IBTanked being out of stock in the sized cartomizer I need. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can find some good carto tanks for the provari? Or is there a separate cartomizer I can buy off another site that will fit the IBtank 22mm XL?

You can buy cartos at a zillion different websites. As long as they are 45mm length they will fit your IBT XL tank.

There are 3 major brands
Ikenvape
Boge
Smoktek or Smoktech.

Check out the coupon section here and you can probably find a deal.

I think that IBTanked is really the best tank you're gonna find (especially for the price). Regardless, you will need the same cartos, so simply buying a different tank isn't going to help with your current dilemma.

This list from Baditude might help you out: Vendor List for Pre-Punched Cartomizers

I'm sorry I can't be of more help. I buy mine from IBTanked, but I use the 3.2 ohm and have not yet had an issue with them being out.
