I recently purchased some ProRings which fit between the Provari and the 22mm tanks, much like the cones people use on their eGo batteries to hide the connector between the battery and delivery device. I don't have a pic using the ProRings with an IBTanked yet, but I do using it with an AGA RBA tank which has a 21mm diameter. Clean lines all up and down the entire device.

I purchased my ProRings from Rampage Vapor (Korean vendor) for $11 each. Adapter :: Provari Conn -
Bomb Vapor is US based and has them for $20. Pro-Ring Stainless Steel. Other vendors have these, also.

I noticed in the description for these prorings on Bomb Vapor.com, and it says they are for juice delivery devices with top cap air flow, such as RBA's. I was interested in picking one of these up for use with a carto tank, but now I'm concerned that it will impede the airflow as it will sit flush with the bottom of the carto tank. Is this a legitimate concern?

Not that I have found. The ProRings do not screw on to anything, but simply lay in place; the juice delivery device itself is what keeps the ProRing in place. They can spin freely, and there is always an invisible gap of air space.

I see that OCD gave me a like about the issue of the glass vs plastic IBTankeds. :thumb:

(Vendors can't normally comment about their products in the general forums).

Ok, that answered my question. Thank you :) The AGA's look cool too.

Never used a carto tank before and took the plunge and ordered one from IBT. Figured I would go whole hog and ordered it with paint. Vape mail came in today.... WOW! Love this! The vape is much better than I was expecting. I had also read about the "thingy" and thought I would give it a try to prime the carto....worked like a charm! Here is a pic 22mm on a Sigelei V3 flat top telescope.

I was carious about these rings from Rampage because the pic is kind of blurry with really no description besides "provari conn". Are they Brushed stainless steel? And how is the quality of them?

I have one ProRing from Bomb Vapor (which became lost, and then found) and two from Rampage Vapor. They are quite similar in construction or build quality, with the two from Rampage slightly lighter in weight. The earlier Bomb Vapor Rings were aluminum, and the next generation stainless steel. I have no idea what metal the rings from Rampage are (vendor doesn't say), but they look to have the same finish as Bomb Vapors.

If you don't mind waiting for overseas shipping (2 weeks), I'd go with the Rampage rings for half the price. I'll tell you this, these rings are easy to lose. Drop them and they will bounce and roll out of sight. I've learned my lesson and now only change delivery devices over my bed to prevent losing one again.

Thanks for the info :toast:, I opted for the Rampage rings since the Bomb Vapor ones were out of stock. Can't wait to see how it looks with the RSST :D

Just had a concern that being metal over metal if it would scratch the Provari underneath?

No worries there. The Rings fit loosely on the cap (no threading) and are held in place by whatever is screwed on top of them. Hey, the Provari is tuff.

So I dropped my eVic with a 25mm XL IBTank on it. Fell off the washing machine when it went into a spin cycle, me busy polycoating some wooden room dividers for a custom travel trailer. Caught it out of the corner of my eye, and my heart sank as I saw the remains of precious... Thankfully, tank took the hit, the stainless caps are fine, eVic is fine, and new one is on the way.

I'd suggest that any frangible material be protected from sharp impacts on hard surfaces, no matter how reputedly tough they might be, it only takes the wrong kind of impact and all of a sudden you're ordering a replacement tank, and 3 more *wink*
