Possibly a dumb question, but how do you get the juice to get into carto once it goes under the holes? I have an ibtanked jumbo tank and this seems like a lot of liquid to be wasting. I have tried tilting th tank to no avail, carto still dried up well before the tank emptied. I want to try a new juice in tank so topping off isnt an option..

Sorry for more dumb questions but did you pre-fill the cartomizer before putting it in your tank?
How many holes are in the carto? Did you make the holes yourself or are they the smaller laser-drilled holes?

I made a tutorial on how to set up a cartotank, including a video. Read and watch and tell me what you did different?

Cartotanks work on the principle of pressure within an enclosed container. When you suck on the cartomizer, the loss of juice in the cartomizer causes a negative pressure within the tank causing more liquid to enter the cartomizer. It's hard to see but each time you vape some eliquid from the tank is replaced by an air bubble from the cartomizer hole.

Someone want to fill me in on what this "tilting" action is supposed to do?

EDIT: Sorry, I just reread the OP's comments and question. I totally misunderstood the situation. Just empty the rest of the contents of the tank, you can not get the juice into the carto's holes. Simple explanation.

You shouldn't let your tank get that low! It can cause you to either burn the carto or flood it. Try to keep it above 25% filled.

As to your specific issue, empty the tank out into either the container you filled it with, or a clean empty container (or just wash it out if you don't that juice anymore) and then clean the tank. (suggest a new carto for the tank if you're switching juices...)

Great the master is here!:D I did prefill carto and loaded tank, was vaping great for days. It occured when the level got under the holes. I got my cartos predrilled from OCD when I ordered the tank. It is still vaping but I can tell it is drying up and dont want to fry the carto.
Yeah, I understand now. As I edited my above post, there's no way that I know of to vape the rest of the juice. Either you fill with the same juice, or remove it and the carto if you wish to change flavors.

You can save the carto for later use if you wish. Use the white or clear "condom covers" to cap both ends of the cartomizer, and tape over the holes. This will keep it from drying out. The juice can be put back into the original bottle.

Billy, I think short fatty tanks like you have need to be topped off when you get low and if you're trying to get the most vape out of each refill you're better off with a taller slightly thinner tank. This way you won't have as much juice to take out when it goes below the holes. Just my 2 cents. I'm using the naked glass one from phiniac. The tilting thing only applies to wick-based systems like vivi novas. Like others here mentioned, cartotanks are all about pressure. GL!

Thanks for all the advice everyone. I will see if I can get a syringe with a 1.5 inch tip and try to suck it back out. I am cheap as you can see, but am trying all new juice and LOVE the tank the most out of all delivery systems. Eventually I hope to narrow it down and have a tank for each of my favorites.

It doesn't have to be that long, remember you can slide the tank up on the carto!
