Like someone else mentioned, just because it's "only" a pear liquid, doesn't mean there isn't something in there that's cracking the tank. Nobody is saying your vendor is sneaking odd ingredients into your juice, but whatever pear flavoring your vendor buys/uses could very well have some sort of citrus ingredient or something else that cracks tanks. Often times flavorings have many ingredients, some of which might not have anything to do with the actual name of the flavor.

We been running VapeDudes Blue honey and Delightfulvapor Tucson Tea through these.
They seem fine so far. Have more coming, was going to run Pluid or Conundrum or ?
I didn't think these were suppose to have the cracking issue???

Throw some Pluid in there and you'll know for sure ;)

What is the tank made of? It appears to be regular old Polycarbonate, in which case you still have to watch out for some flavors. If it was made of typical juice resistant plastic (I think it's Polypropylene isn't it?) it wouldn't be perfectly clear, it would have a frosted appearance to it.

PET is clear just like Polycarbonate, and I don't believe reacts with any juice, but AFAIK it's never been claimed that the Iclear 30 is made of PET. I still don't get why manufacturers don't use PET, it's crystal clear, isn't brittle like polycarbonate tank tubes, and won't react with juice.

The tank portion is polycarbonate, so it's susceptible to certain juices.

Pretty lame! I should have researched better obviously.
Pretty cheap-... crap though. Vision with the ViVi seemed to be able to do good quality tank material! for less money!
Friggin Innokin! I dont like scamming companies. May seem trivial, it's the point of it though. Like oh, they'll never notice.

I don't really think it's an issue of Innokin being a shady company or anything. Polycarbonate is what the vast majority of clearos/tanks/etc are made of. I don't know why Innokin should be held to a higher standard than anyone else. There are also some polypropylene tanks around, but some people don't like them because they have a frosted/cloudy look. That's why so many used Polycarbonate, as it's nice and crystal clear.

The Vivi Nova AFAIK is polycarbonate just like the Iclear30, same thing with Vision's clearos. Vision Vivi Novas and clearos will melt/crack/fog exactly the same way as the Iclear30.

It's not like this happens with all juice, I've tried well over 100 juices and only one is known to crack tanks - Pluid. All my other juices were fine in Polycarbonate tanks.

I wouldn't be so quick to judge Innokin and the Iclear simply because they use polycarbonate, especially since I've heard from several experienced people that the Iclear is one of, if not the best performing clearo out there.

I agree with Uncle. The problem wasn't with Innokin unless they made a claim that the tank material would be safe from all juices. I've been highly cognizant about tube materials since I had a clearomizer literally melt in my hands in 5 minutes after putting some strawberry lemonade e-liquid in it. I've only used pyrex or polypropylene tanks since that time.

There are alternative juice delivery devices that you can use with the volatile flavors. I made a blog article on them in the below link:

Whoa, that's nuts! You remember what type of clearo it was?
