I've been reading some threads around the smell/taste of the iClear 30 when it is brand new.

This will be the first clearomizer that I have used and I am keen to clean it first as suggested, I was wondering how this is done.

I have read that you give it a vodka bath and then warm water; does this mean I undo the iClear into separate pieces and leave them all in a small bowl of vodka and then rinse and do the same in warm water? Sorry for asking what seems like an obvious question but I am a noob when it comes to anything other than cartomizers.

Any tips would be hugely appreciated.

Yes take it all apart and then soak it, the mouth piece screws off, then you can screw off the two metal caps that go around the tank itself, and then the part with the coils and wicks are attached to the bottom metal piece so screw that off also, so you have the mouthpiece, the two metal piece, coil/wick piece, and the tank. Then throw that in whatever you are using to clean...I used 90% Isopropyl alcohol/rubbing alcohol whatever, it kind of made the tank part itself lose some of the measuring marks, and it looks a little different now. So I wouldn't leave it in the vodka or whatever you use to long, or at least check it a lot. Probably wouldn't happen with vodka but just to be sure I would check it.

Thank you sir! So just a single bath of vodka and then dry it off before using.
