My first try now has no leaking but the vapour production is not as much as the original state. Probably too thick of a cotton.
I'm still waiting for my heads in the mail, maybe Wednesday. Although, I have read that if you boil organic cotton it wicks better. Don't know first hand, just what I've read on the package.
Probably. But I kind of went back to the original coil today. The cotton tasted weird... and I didn't have the time to boil it this week :/
Ive never had a leaking, dry hit, gurgle problem.
Just FYI-Ive been using 30b for some time. The first heads that came with the tank have a long tube coming out of the top and the two coils are perpendicular (wicks come out on all four sides) . These sucked as they died very very quickly. Also, the one that came with the tank was DOA, as was one replacement. The others died very quick (3-5 days). However, i just ordered a 5pack from ebay (vapingtown2013) for 9.98. These have a shorter tube coming out of the top, and instead of the cross alignment of the two coils, they are now stacked parallel. These are MUCH better. Still no gurgle, no dry hits, good flavor, lots of vapor. The best part of the new version? Today is day 14 of HEAVY all day use at 3.9-4.1v, 9.5-10.5W, and only now am noticing a drop in performance, so we are looking at 2-5x the life of the original. Definitely get!
Just cleaned the head that was starting to drop performance wise, and it is back to full production!
Just an update. I finally got new heads for my 30B, and that solved the leaking problem.
I don't use it any more though, because I have too many tank cracking juices, and have moved to a few Aerotanks, a Nautilus and RDAs and RBAs.
I'm starting to get completely into rebuildables now, but only have three. I have a problem tasting anything, so the rebuildables work better for me.

Update....get my coil heads today from ebay. They say innokin on the box so I screw one in, get out my 65% VG juice, and within 5 minutes it leaked out 1.5 ml of juice. Tried everything....extra o-ring on top of the head to see if that's where it is leaking....tightening....loosening...fluffing the wicks etc. etc. etc. etc.....
I'm Done!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's all I can stands 'n I can't stands no more!!!!!!!! I'm stickin to my RDA's, RBA's and T2's...Innokin just lost my business. I'm not going to do business with a company that's a crap-shoot every time you get something from them, especially at $2.00 a head and a weeks waiting time.
Which version are the new heads? Which vendor on ebay did you get them from? Its odd the number of people who are having issues with leaking. Ive been using 30b for about 1.5 months and I have never had a leaking issue at all. Do your new heads have the long tube with crossed coils or short tube with stacked coils?
I feel very bad for you, as I have not had this problem even remotely.
They are the crossed kind from 5 x Coil Head Innokin iClear 30B ICLEAR30B Dual Coil Tank Clearomize I guess it's the luck of draw. The head I had in it originally worked fine.....Go figure?
Update.........I found out why the 30b was leaking. It wasn't the coil head, I had forgot to put an oring on the tank part. Everything is working fine now. Sorry for being a dumbass...
