I've done a tone of searching and I can't seem to find a definitive answer. What type of juices should I keep out of my iClear 30S tanks? It seems like some of the more mild tank crackers seem to be fine in it but the strong ones cause etching? Is t hat right? Also, does anyone know of any pyrex (or any other crack proof) tubes that can be fitted to the 30s? TIA

I have a 30s tank that I used for a cinnamon/menthol juice called "Sinthol" from Niquid that although it didn't crack the tank, turned it cloudy. It did the same thing to an iclear 16 tank. I don't know if there are glass replacements for the iclear tanks. You may just have to get a different brand.

Here is a great resource regarding "tank cracking" eliquid by ECF member Baditude: Something Safe for Cinnamon and Citrus Flavors

Make sure to open all his links! Two of those links are:

* A blog post by ECF member The Ocelot titled "EEEKKK it's Melting".
* A "HUGE" list of juice and flavorings that may cause problems as far as cracking, fogging, or etching polycarbonate tanks (compiled by ECF member my4jewels).

I think it would be helpful if vendors warned about juices that crack tanks. I've only encountered one (MBV) that actually does it. I use Evods and I've noticed juice that cracks one tank won't crack another and so on. I've gotten pretty sick of not knowing from tank to tank which juice I can use so I sucked it up and got an EMOW and two Protank 2's and if they keep performing as amazingly as they have been the last couple of weeks, my plastic guys are getting relegated to emergency backup duty.

I also picked up three Aspire ET-S, but they do more gurgling than actual performing. I've tried the standard BDC coils, knockoffs from Vape Only, and I just picked up some genuine BVC coils as a last ditch effort for these to work.

I figure whatever coil your using, find out if there's a glass tank that takes the same ones and just spend the extra 10-20 on it. Then you never have to worry.
