iClear X.1/30B Coils - Real vs Authentic or New vs One

Hello,

My girlfriend and I both use iClear X.1 by innokin (eye-no-kin or inn-o-kin?). We originally got coils where the wicks intersected each other but now, it's like the protank coils where they're stacked. Is this a real vs authentic coil deal or did Innokin update the design? Or is one designed specifically for the 30b and the other the X.1?

Does anyone know the story behind this?

I just bought a refurb x.1 yesterday. Brand new coil, and it has the "x" pattern that the 16 uses (but bottom coil, instead of top coil and dreadlocks). The stacked kind sound like every other generic Chinese coil on Earth. I bought 2 extra coils to have spares, and they are also the "X" pattern. Trouble is, all Innokin coils I've seem (genuine authentic) do not say "Innokin" anywhere on them, just the ohms laser etched. Makes it tough.

Think you got a cheap generic replacement, not the real deal. Sorry. BUT, if it works - does it matter?
