I'm fairly sure that the iStick + Plume Veil would satisfy you for a while, and make a nice "on the go" set-up with a Nautilus. You could put off the batteries/charger/ohm-meter for now, since the iStick doesn't need batteries, and has a built-in ohm-meter.

I think it's a good move; you won't regret the iStick. I'm getting pretty good vapor from 15 watts, so you can surely do it with 20. Then at some point you can definitely throw in a mech/batteries/charger/ohm-reader, but I'm fairly sure that iStick + nautilus + RDA is going to be roughly the cost of what you're considering here.

Fasttech usually gets to me in 2 to 3 weeks. Just make sure that their website shows in stock or really short times. If an item takes a week or two to get to Fasttech, they will hold up the entire order until complete. Fasttech does ship for free. Never used Focalecig, but they should be much faster, probably less than half the time.

There are a few caveats in resistance, voltage, and current handling with the iStick. This video is pretty long, but it covers all the possibilities and is a complete review, including teardown and a look at the insides. There are conditions where it won't reach 20A. I don't consider that a problem, but some might. There's a range of resistance and voltage that will let it produce 20A vapes within given limits.

I still think it is a good unit for away from home stealth carry and I intend to order one after the product matures a little.

For a nautilus mini, I'd need to buy coils as well.

But I plan to only use it at home, so it doesn't really matter.

I know it's not a conventional combo, but I've been using my istick with my Lemo with a 1 ohm coil all afternoon and it produces awesome amounts of vapor.

Sure the Lemo hangs over the sides a bit, but crank it up to 12 watts and you won't notice.
Lemo looks pretty nice.
What is the vapor compared to say a Lemo on a higher watt mod?

I'm constantly changing my mind. I'm hesitant about getting an iStick + Nautilus Mini because I'm afraid I won't be satisfied with vapor production.

Where are the cheapest places to get these?
I want to have the most money for ejuices

  • Plume Veil Clone
  • Nitecore D4/D2 Charger
  • Sony VTC 4/5 Batteries
  • Nemesis SS Clone
  • Ohm Meter
Cheapest? probably Fasttech...which isn't fast. Angelcigs has a pretty good pricing and they ship from the US. Not sure on the quality cuz I only ordered yesterday from them.

Oh... I WOULD suggest not going for a regulated mod that doesn't have replaceable batteries. IMO replacing the mod when the batteries die is sucky. I get attached and would rather just swap the batteries.
As for ideas about the items.... Plume veil, excellent to build on, nice roomy posts that aren't that tough to thread. Nitecore charger, decent charger...what else is there to say? VTC is the only way to roll IMO. Nemesis I don't own so I really can't say much on it. Ohm meter is a must if you're building coils, no explode yourself.

Just pony up and get the D4 over the D2, you'll appreciate the extra bays even though you might not use them all the time.
Yeah, I'll probably do that since I might buy more later.

What mods do you have?
And do you know when VTC5s will be back in stock?
Let me know the quality of AngelCigs if you do get it soon.

I don't personally need any more power than what this istick makes. 12 watts with the Lemo at one ohm is plenty for me, but you know, YMMV.

The istick has become my daily carry to work/ anytime I leave the house mod. Gotta love not having to carry extra batteries everywhere I go and it fits in my t-shirt pocket way better than a full sized ProVari with an 18650 ever could. Charges fully from locked with the mini usb connection in 2 hours, no separate battery charger needed. I can charge it at work, or in the car using my phone charger that I already have.

Will it last forever, of course not, but at this price, I don't really care. Something better and cheaper will come out and I'll move on I'm sure, but for now I'm totally happy with it. I'm pretty confident that I could open it and replace the battery, I'm just no super gung- ho to try soldering tabs onto an 18650, but when this one dies I may try it just to see i I can get it done.

I got the Lemo because it is 23mm and looks good on a ProVari with a beauty ring, but on the istick it's still a great performer.

Lemo and an istick, about $75 all in.

Do you have any problems with the Lemo?

Current functional mods. Between my collection and my significant other's we've got a sigelei of some sort, A fuhattan (my mech), an unnamed mech of hers (crappy, but it was free), a VAMO 35W, and that's all we really need ATM. Non-functional mods include a few different versions of the Lavatube, quite a few cigalikes, and several mech and regulated mods made by me in various states of disrepair/disassembly. (I can't help it..I like to tinker but bore easily)

As for the VTC5s... I have no idea sadly, but I plan to order more tasty batteries as soon as funds permit.

As for Angelcigs... I ordered like...last night, so I have no idea when they'll get here. I'd assume they'll process it monday and itll get to me about 4-5 days after that.
