If I'm just looking for pure menthol, are crystals the way to go?

I've been looking around for a menthol I'll like (just got one from V9 and Cool from V4L, I'll see how they taste in my 2nd order of blank carts) and just want a pure menthol taste, not much else until later on if I want to try a varient. would getting crystals and my own stuff to make it be the most beneficial and cost effective?

I got crystals and dissolved them in PGA (pure grain alcohol) and they are great...used sparingly (a drop at a time and vape test) as they are powerful.
Filled a 6ml bottle with the crystals, added a little PGA, put the bottle in hot tap water for a few minutes, and there you have it.
I use it to amp up the menthol in many of my flavors.

If you just want pure menthol, then the best way to get it would naturally be to use pure menthol. So...yah ^_^ crystals would suit you well.
